I think people who carry signs and protest are wasting time, but I don't let it "bother" me.

And to assume that people of faith don't accomplish anything is patently absurd.

Note that this means the NYT falls into that category, they were the ones who published an attack on Palin's husband for the DWI ... inspite of Obama's request!

And, I am being very careful not to find the right scumbag camps to post from - even though I was initially tempted to do so after the attack we posted here on Palin and her baby Trig.

I hope that includes the NYT too then!

The New York Times is the nations newspaper and widely read around the world. Its reporters have uncovered many cases of government misdeeds over the years.As have the Wall Street Journal, 60 minutes and other media outlets.

Look through page 3 and read Hash and my posts on media scumbag groups - who insist on attacks on family. In the case of the NYT, it was because of their DWI post inspite of Obama's call for the opposite.

We agreed (well, sorta! ) that both the NYT and the Washington Post fell into that category.

Hence my comment.

I prefer to take the high road to victory - even if the Republicans lose, I can still live with myself and my choices.

Nor will I rationalize that the end justifies the means. I have my ethics ... just like Palin!

I didn't realize posting what a religion believes in was against the rules, as it has been done many times before. I will refrain from doing so in the future.

My one question is why my factual statement was deleted, but the offensive remark against a religion it was in response to was left intact.

Yup! I don't believe in wallowing in filth.

FWIW, I made the mistake of believing Bill when he denied the allegations - my wife and I were watching the television and I actually turned to her and said "The President would not lie to us" or words to that effect.

Little did I know.

Sorry, no, I believe in personal morality and ethics. Now, to slander or libel somebody without proof is contemptible.
