I'm no so sure about this.... I ordered mine from the same place in late May and have called Bully Dog several times and every time they have said 2 weeks. Recently I called them on two Mondays in a row and again this Friday each time it was "Two weeks sir" FWIW....

Cool. I'm guessing I'd use the windshield mount on the left of wheel. It would be soooo cool if i cut out a thing for it under the a.c controlson that door thing too.

So overall is it better to manually set all these limits and configurations yourself or to just have it professionally tuned at a Nissan dealership? I'm not very educated when it comes to tuners...

You do it all yourself, well you could get someone to do it for you but it's pretty straight forward, you would definetly not go to the stealership, they would flip if they found out you were adjusting the rev limit, speed limit, ect..... for them that would be grounds to void the warranty.

Yeah I know that..but there are a couple guys that help me out under the table when management isn't looking..that's actually how and where i got the Alty advanced timed..the guy said he'd even install my headers which is surprising considering dealerships usually never mess with CATs

I guess what I meant to say was how will people like me know exactly what numbers to input into the tuner?

So...I brought up this question earlier in the posts...I understand that you can switch between the two tunes...but if it's like other tuners, does the programmer shut itself off after a certain number of switches between the two...you know, to keep you from sharing your tuner with other people...something about a pin # or something. Also, does this stay connected in your car or do you tune everything and then disconnected?

Got mine today . It's not clear if you can log data to the SD chip that comes with it. I didn't see that in the manual but I remember someone else saying this would be possible. I guess it's a question for bullydog support later.

The bad news though: The manual says Nissan 2.5/3.5L coming soon (as a software update). We'll see if that's really true, but it looks like it might be more waiting until I can use this thing . I'm reluctant to take it out of the packaging (bubble plastic container, yuck but I guess they need to shave costs somewhere compared to the power pup [nice carrying case]) until I know whether it will work.

What's cool about the unit is that it has electrostatic buttons - you don't press them, they discharge when you touch them... it's also pretty small (half size of power pup) which might be convenient to just grab it and go when you park somewhere moderately sketchy.

Anyone else get theirs yet?

Not positive but it doesn't sound like it. You have to return your vehicle to stock settings before you can use it on another car (it mates to the ECU somehow).

Mounts to the windshield (other mounting options purchased separately). You run a power wire to the fuse box, and connect the unit to the OBDII port. It has gauges so it's designed to stay connected. But to answer your question, yes it does reprogram parts of the ECU (it's a downloader, not just a pass-through mod).

So does anyone know where the fuse box is on 6th gen Altimas?

check the other thread in this section, we've already started posting info about it there...

the manual that comes with it is not updated, as the GT for Gas cars just came out last week. I was the first to get mine last Friday, and I installed it on Monday after making sure it was OK by the tech support reps...

download troubles seem to be with the 2.5's... the 3.5 downloads perfectly!

So what is exactly is the final verdict? Us 2.5ers can't actually use our Triple Dog GT Gas Tuners until they come out with the download?
