Wow, mine was ~18-20psi at hot idle (900 rpm and ~190 degrees) on 15w-50 Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 filter. Now running ~15-16psi on 10w-30 Mobil 1 and PureOne filter at same specs. Motor runs 55-60 psi at 3200rpm no load hot (FSM calls for 46-54psi) and 75-80psi cold start. I wonder if it's the cheaper sensor on the short sweep electric Autometer bc my engine is super clean inside. I've also read on other forums (one vette forum comes to mind) that Mobil 1 tends to run a bit thinner than some oils and that PureOne filters are a bit more restrictive to flow in favor of better filtration. Hopefully, I don't have any issues. Thanks for the info. Most people I had seen with ~25psi were running a bit higher rpms at idle.

my idle is a bit higher its at 1000 rpms.

and i am running napa 10-30w for the break in.

around 3000-4000 it is usually around 45 psi though

and first start up is 70

but the motor even when i run it really hard it doesnt really go above like 70 psi

hmm...what bearings are you using again? That's weird that I run higher pressure at cold start, WOT, and in that rpm range. I don't know. Again, mine is super clean inside. Guess I won't worry about it. Thanks idaho

calico bearings how ever you spell them. brand new oil pump though, and the whole block has had every oil port bored clean. that could make for lower oil pressure slightly.

Could be that, I just wanted to know from a fresh rebuild running nearly stock rpm at idle bc I've always worried about my motor's oil pressure, thinking that it's too low and the motor's going to pop on me even though it's in good shape.

well i was i nthe process of pulling my turbo off today, and couldnt get the rear coolant line off. so decided to slide under the car and see if i could figure out a better angle to get at it.

thats when i found the bottom of my tranny all oily, seemed like it was coming out of the veiw hole in the tranny. well i took of the 2 10mm bolts holding the cover on and stuck my finger inside. and it came out all black and oilly.

so i figure either the rear main seal is leaking, or the tranny input shaft is leaking. doubt its the rear main seal. cause that is all new. and i cant tell if its the tranny input shaft seal. but when i pull the clutch off tomorrow i will find out.

got the gt3076r today. the isis top mount doesnt give enough clearance between the BMC and the turbine. but i think if i tilt the engine over the other way it should be fine. i also have a log manifold from mazworx. so we will get it to work. the 1.06 ar is huge!!

there is fitment issues with the isis manifold. it bolts up fine to the head. but look how it places the turbo next to the BMC. turbo still needs clocked
Image
Image
rear housing isa t4 1.06 so i am hopping a t3 .83 will have more clearance. but this one needs about an inch. or it needs the whole turbo flange twisted towards the strut piller putting it in more at an angle.
Image
Image
you can see in these pictures how it is hitting.
Image
Image
and you can see here how the turbo needs to rotate about an inch to get this stud in
Image
Image
and you can see the turbo flang from underneath how it doesnt line up.
