youve got 275 40s on the back? are they only 17s?

and do you have overfenders by any chance.

I take it the knock sensor tested bad?

Good luck getting everything fixed.

When you go to install the KS, make sure to check the sub harness as well. Often times its the harness that has failed, not the sensor. I just ended up making a new harness for mine, because I didnt feel like dropping the money at Nissan.

if you have it keep it.

well i got my car running. the tune i got was bad and my knock sensor was shot. my hood is stuck shut now i open it then shut it and now it wont pop open.

and my car isnt wanting to idle. those are the two things i got to fix right now.

but i got the car here with me at school and i can use the shop to work on it. so i am excited.

ok guys here is my problem..

my car idles fine until it warms up. then when it warms up the idle pulses from about 200-500.and tries to dy and ocassionally it will die.

but if i dissconnect the TPS it idles at about 1000 steady.i cleaned the tps but that didnt do anything.i was thinking about by passing the coolant lines to the IACV and see if that helps.

ight. when i unplug the IACV it idles fine too. so i am thinking i just need to pull the hose off and spray stuff into the IACV to clean it.

well cleaning it didnt help any. and the idle is still like crap. but now it seems to be reveresed. once it warms up it will idle long enough for me to come to a stop and sit there and give it gas until i can take off again.

its boosting fine.and driving fine just not idling worth a damn.

hm, im having the same problem right now.

idles for 3 -4 seconds, then gets super low, down to about 200-300 rpm and then works back up to normal idle, and this cycle just keeps going.

haven't figured it out yet.

have you tested if your maf or tps are faulty? whats the voltage reading off of both... also do you have an safc? if so try unplugging it and seeing if it makes a difference...
