oh yea. its sittin in my garage right now. i realy didnt care what happend to the motor sence im saving up to swap it out for the RB26. anyway...yea the transmission went out about mid september lol. i kinda figured it would. an i baught it off of her for $3k. this one might just be the death of me man. RB26 swap, full interior w/as much carbon fiber as i can get away with, a cage that ill probably end up custom fabing myself, the back seats are gone and its all fiberglassed in w/ 2 subs but thas as far as i got befor it got too cold to do anything els (i dont have heated shop) i used to just do everything in my buddies shop but we kinda got in a bit of a fight an yea....**** happens lol. so not only am i paying for my build but an *** load of tools to go into a tiny *** shop. as far as exterior goes, when shes all done shel have the S15 front end conversion and itl be 07 350z blue with a lovely German flag on the drivers side lol. other then that just performance **** mostly. trunk floors gettin cut out to fit a 20g fuel cell, fire system etc. im not too much into fluff and looks and ****. id rather go stupidly fast, but thats just me lol

that blows, its illegal in IL too but luckily the cops around here have better things to do & considering that idaho doesnt have any emissions laws etc they seem very laxed about that kinda thing..why would they give a **** about a front plate? lol

Very nice but very spendy build. i did a bang for the buck and it treats me nicely. 3000 was to much for that car. IMO. BUT hey its a good base.

You buy me a grill and i will put it in. i am a poor college student. as far as the plate its required in idaho and they will pull you over for it.
duffman1278 wrote:Dude you should convert your tail lights to LED
how about PS for now maybe tail light tint but other then that i cant afford much. college sucks

koukis would be awesome want ot buy them for me. yeah no emissions in idaho but they are strict on the plates it sucks i hate it.

i am living in washington for school. so they might not know they are required in idaho. so i could probably get away with pulling it off.

Don't fight the plate man.

I have been given to much bull **** for just having my plate in my window and not on the front most part of my vehicle.

It is not worth the trouble or the 200 dollars if you get an ******* cop.

"failure to properly display license plate" " unlawful placement of license plate"

Dude its not worth it. But that is just in my area.

yea man i can agree but i was so desperate for a 240 that i didnt realy care lol. an yea like i said this one might just be the death of me hahaha. not nessesarily the build, but the cost itself. i can build it, no problem. but im broke as balls lol. that was the catch with all the other cars iv built. the people i built them for had some pretty deep pockets. id looked into putting in an SR but i just couldt get my mind off of the RB. most people have SRs and i didnt want to follow the croud. i love the motors and the fact that u can build a 9000 rpm head for it is sick. but thers just somethin about 6cyl twin turbos that blows my skirt up hahaha. just the thought of owning the holy grail of all nissan motors (IMO). but thats my basic problem right now. i have no way to get money. i work at Silver Mt hahaha

thanks man. it needs some more work though. having a high output 4cylinder will allways have bugs.

dude if i am around i would be more then willing to help out. my dad did all my body work and paint though. I am more of a grease monkey then a auto body, but if you seriously get the money for an rb26 i can check into getting one. or better yet. if you came up with the money i would be willing to sell you my whole setup.

yea im more mechanical also. body work isnt too bad, iv done a bit. wiring is my bigest challenge haha. i hate electricity and more then that i hate getting electricuted lol. this is the first build im actuly being forced into learning all of the wiring. usualy i let someone els do it. i found a 5spd transmission online so i think im going to do the swap on the stock KA and just roll it untill i can afford the RB26 (sence itl definitly be a while). but im realy not diggin the purple paintjob so thats gotta go pretty soon lol. mabe we can wrk sometn out. and what do you mean if i get the money youl sell me your entire setup? like what setup are you talking about? you have an rb26?

oo gotcha lol. LS1? ...isnt that a Corvette motor? blasphemy my friend lol. thats like people who put 2JZ's in their nissans. or people in Mullan who screw their sisters. sure it feels the same, but its just not screwin right man lol. and i would totaly go with an sr20...but damn man lol. im stuck on an RB. and do you know where i can get a 5spd for the Ka motor? iv tried everywhere and i just cant find one. transmission swaps arent too bad. just time consuming and a pain in the *** mostly. me and my friend did a swap on one to his 300zx
