well it runs and boosts all right at 10 psi.

#1 it isnt putting enough of a load o nthe alternator at idle so i all ways have to have my lights on or defroster or something to keep the alternator loaded up so the idle doesnt pulse and want to die

cause: could be the gasket on the o2 housing to down pipe is **** and so air is pulsing in and out from there at an idle cause the o2 reading to screw up. need to check to see if this is true.

#2 been over heating again. it was a new thermostat in it but likes to heat up slow then goes really fast from normal operating temp to hot. 180-230* F takes a long time to drop back down. and i have waht looks like oil in my coolant, but not really oil. just greasy stuff.

cause: possible over heating cause the head to warp. even though compression test was fine. but i need to perform a leak down test.

last when boosting under a heavy load it misses really bad. and acutally makes a sound like air blowing out of a small hole really fast.

thats managable, as long as you put it on a stand and give it the thorough treatment you'll be fine...

money is the only obstacle.

money isnt an issue. i havea full shop at my finger tips and i get credit for everything i do. i get 40 to 60% of parts. the main things i will have to do is mill the head and block. and just assemble is again.

After seeing all the little issues you've been having with this car, I'm starting to second guess my build. Oh well, i already bought all the parts. Maybe i'll just beet the piss outta it for a while once i get it together and then sell it to some drifter wanabe for 15k. Oh well, good luck with getting it running well again. I'll hopefully have the cams, injectors and maf on mine over spring break when i get my ecu from jwt.

Been long *** time since I've been on Nico. I remember last time around when I did my SR swap finally that you were having overheating issues and swapped out the thermostat. But do you think the overheating screwed up your rings!?!?

That sux bro, Good luck with it all. Mine been running strong since the tune haven't had any problems really at all but im going get different cams cause i don't like the power band and theirs like not enough torque really. How much torque did your 264 feel Ben? What was your dyno sheet and hp and torque numbers again.

Man, after opening Diddersons thread to find out his car was totalled, I was expecting the worst in this thread for some reason! I feel better knowing it's not the case, lol.

with forged internals i will go top mount twinscroll gt3076r. apexi de jetro PFC. aim fora 500 to the wheels.

the new turbo wont come tell next fall unless. i might be able to pull off enough stuff to sell to get the fc and turbo set up by selling some parts i have.

gt2871r .64 turbo- 1000adapter peices - 30MR manifold - 45MR o2 housing - 20CS ss turbo lines- 80t28 return - 20piping pro intake plus couplers - 35 apexi z32 filter - 402 z32 mafs - 200Enthalpy tuned ECU. - 350

that gets me- $1,8** thats barely enough for my manifold. lol

this is what i will get http://www.full-race.com/catal...=1748

lol 1800 is half of that.

yes they will. but i had one guy interested in buying it all together so i will see. the only thing holding me back right now. is if i will have a place to keep my car over the summer that will be safe. as soon as i figure that out. i will pull that stuff off and sell it.

You're not going to reuse the turbo lines for your other turbo?

Man can't believe you're selling all your stuff! I want your turbo, but I'm not working many hours
