as long as he likes it. yeah the na;s arent that fast, id post pics of my brothers mr2 turbo but i try not to whore in build threads. i wouldnt call it an old mans car thu. the mr2 is more of a sports car than a 240. how much did he pick it up for and what miles does it have. my bros was a 92 factory turbo w/ 120k miles he picked it up for $6k like 3 years ago

From looking at the picture, I should really buy myself a creeper. You said you had the manifold right? the Greddy? Are you going to put it on soon?

I am going to get the circuit sport divorced turbo extension to help more o nth etop end as well. so it should put out soem good hp numbers.

ok here is the pics from tonight

put al lthe coolant hoses back on and in place. modified some.here is the intake a couple of things arnt hooked up but i know where every thing goes. i eliminated the coolant hoses going to the manifoldl as well. which means how air wont be flowing through the head and ehating it up.and otehr angle. i uses copper spray a gasket on the original intake gasket and reused it.i dedicded to set my exhaust manifold o njust to see waht it would look like. it is jsut sitting there.i like this picand this onelittle bit wider angle.close up of the exhasut manifold side.veiw fro mthe backveiw fro mthe frontand a full motor shot. tons o pictures lol. but iwas excited casue it is really coming together for me.i still need to put the fuel rail in. but i am going to wait until i get new injectors.so now i just need to decides what to order next.i swear my motor looks so freaking fast sittign there. lolgives me a woody but yea coment on it. i hope it helps with soem otehr peoples installs.i have learned alot and stuff is gettign easier for me. i was a bit over welmed fora while but now it is coming togetehr FAST. hehe literally. the only thing holding me back now is money.

i know i am so excited. lol i just need more money now. i got the hard parts all out of the way. the only part that might be a little difficult now is installing gauge sensors.. thinking i might order my gauges this month. instead of clutch and fly wheel. becasue iwont be putting the motr i nfor a while and it will be o nthe stand until i do. so i htink i will order the gauges. thinking autometer to. but they dont makea pyrometer and i want ot get one of those

def looking real good, what series of gauges would u being going w/ from autometer? gauges arent hard to install and w/ the motor out it should be cake to run everything nicely and u shoudl do a wire tuck while ur at it. is that a real GReddy intake mani or a knock off? and what type of exhaust manifold is that?

i am not sure waht series of gauges. i was looking at them the other day but the dont have one for messuring exhuast empature, and i want one of those.

yea when you say wire tuck how would you do it. i think the wire tuck will be easier to do with everything in the car. so i can see where they are going and stuff.

that is a really greaddy intake manifold paid like 480 buck or somthing for it from phase 2. i just havent labled it yet.

the exhasut manifold is a megan racing one.

ok, i was just wondering on teh GReddy one, i think i'm gonna get a knock off thu. i almost bought the megan racing turbo manifold but i got a brand new xs power mani for $70 shipped

as far as the wire tuck goes, a lot can be done beofre the engine goes in, from most sr swap there are wires a plugs left over that are not needed. those can be cut out, nissans wiring can also be run a lot cleaner than how it was from teh factory, it really depends on how hard core u wanna go. heres a little pic to demonstrate, it might not be the best examples thu, because its already partially cleaned upthe wiring and vacuum lines circled in red can be stealthed away by running them under the intake manifold. the wiring will still be going in front of the motor thu, some have lengthened everything and run it behind the motor and through the fenders. in green u see the injector wiring, lengthen it and tuck it under the manifold as well, that was all u will see is the clips and then the wires loop straight down out of sight. in purple is the mess of harness that contains the ignitor chip. mine already looks a lot better than it did and even since this pic its been tucked away through the fender, some ppl even mount their fuse box in the fender or behind the bumper to really clean it up. u already mentioned before that u are not going to run an overflow tank, this will help by eliminating the hose sown in blue. a lot of wire tucking is just being creative and hiding things from sight. going through the fenders is popular and effective. these are just a few tips to get started but it can be taken much farther than this

yea i dont really want to cut any wires and solder them back together caur that would ba PITA. somthing easy. that pictures helps out. i am goign to paint my fuse box lids and just leave the fuse boxes in stock location. i am jst going fora clean look. not no visible wire look. lol
