Again, I wouldn't even worry about the transmission overfill issue. The extra isn't hurting anything.

i don't know what kind of brake setup you are planning on running, but i find that 225's, stock brakes with brembo blanks and hawk pads, are lacking in keeping up with my brake setup. as long as you are not slammed, you could probably work in some 245's for the front and 275's on the rear. of course offset and rim width plays a big role too, but after looking around, thats the biggest setup i've seen someone run on an s13 with stock fenders and slight mods to the fenders. zilvia.net has an awesome thread on maximum rubber under s-chassis.
What tire are you running with? I have 225's up front (Hankook Ventus RSR z212) and have no issue with them unless i'm at the end of a session...but the obvious solution would be to go to an R compound tire....

right now i have the federal 595's, the crappy versions lol. i know it's not the ideal grip setup, but that was what i bought the car with. R compound would be nice, but i don't think my pocket is deep enough to dd R compounds. plus, i do a lot of traveling from northwestern NY to southeastern PA so that wouldn't help with tire wear as well. i am going z32 26mm front setup soon and want a tire setup that would give me decent grip but also last a little longer too.

Federal tires in general are pretty crappy, but they do the job for events.

the 595ss suck, but the 595rs are actually supposed to be decent. haha, again, i point you towards zilvia.net on a thread about the 595rs vs azenis 615's.http://www.zilvia.net/f/showth...zenisthere are also a few links in this thread comparing the 595rs's to other tires as well. the price for the 595rs is comparable other tires that have been proven so its up to you if you want to be a guinea pig or not. me personally, it would be between the kumho mx's or if i wanted to spend a little more money, i'd get the azenis rt615's.

I would disagree. I currently have Federal 595 (whatever the street variant is) on my rearmost two tires, and have NO complaints about them...in fact I like they way they worked on track better than the Potenza's!

Im getting some more Federals 595 soon, 235/40/18 all around for my street cruising wheels man I love the Federal 595 tires alot. Then im going to buy some 17x9 +17 A-Tech Weapon's from enjuku later on.

you cant beat them for the price and the perfomance

Their Ranked 3rd in Japan as most favorable tires used in Drift competition.

well the reason this is turning into a tire thread but right now is cause that is the next thing i need to decided on. the federals are cheep. i will probably burn through them on the back pretty fast. i was even thinking about trying to squeeze 275 on the back and just not dropping it much.

after next week i will be ordering my coilovers and rucas. from pbm. so that is exciting. today my phantom water temp gauge is coming in.

haha, I def hear ya there...I wanted to swap my gauges out for the black bsae model ones so badly, but just figured F it....

These are white back / black-dark gray during the day (like OE SE Nissan) and at night become white litters with black background, like OE SE Nissan, so I figured they would match. I'm super wierd when it comes to things matching and being of the same color...I dunno why though lol

Blitz R115 old school JDM gauges are a similar scheme. Can't find em anymore though. I got the last set straight from Japanland.

I haven't read ur ramblings but if you are considering black gauges I have the sport comp 2 series from autometer. Can't go wrong man, with every gauge they include the vacum line, so many fittings and t offs and hardware. I'm stuck on autometer for the rest of my setup. Plus the LED lighting in this thing is hot. white hot. So I'm totally behind the guys here suggesting autometer. Great affordable reliable gauges.

edit i just read so I'll keep my pic whorings out of the build For those who wanna c it refer to the build thread below.

well after looking around soem more at possible tire wheel set ups i cam upon sportmax 006 thinking about a doing the 17x7 up front and the 18x9.5 in the back. ru na 215 in front and a 275 in back. the front might needa little spacer to be flush but other then that they should work great. you might ask why 17x7 up front. well cause i am cheep lol not really it is cause i like the staggered size look when you can tell the back is bigger the nthe front. wit hthe back wheels beign a whole 2.5 inches wider it will bw kick ***. and i can get wheels and tires shipped for 1200 dollars. exaxtly the amount i was planing on spending for my tire budget. here is the version of the 006 i am looking at. it will match the 2 tone paint i am doing.
