Looks like either the 64112M or 64113M in the pic Speed posted.

They are both on or near to the transmission on the passenger side if that helps. Thanks again.

^ The second one is the speed sensor.

And I think the first one is the Terminal Cord Assembly.

hokay so,

Im trying to adjust my rear camber back to a normal position because when i bought the car it was off (on purpose). Im running 17 infiniti rims that dont have a problem with fitment so thats not a big deal being that I have stock suspension. The RLCA's on the car are adjustable, but im not sure how to go about moving them inward at the moment and dont want to tweak or bend anything by unbolting things first before others etc. any advice? my RUCA's are stock, dont know what other information is needed. I can provide pictures if needed as well. I currently have the bottom bolts of the bushing below the brake rotor unscrewed.

You might have to just bring it to an alignment shop and have them set everything up to make sure its correct.

Are we talking adjustable aftermarket control arms or eccentric bolts? Either way, eye-balling won't fly. 2 wheel alignments aren't usually more than $40 or so.

The rear lowers are aftermarket, I did a bit more thinking and realized what I have to do, but one of my tension rod bolts is bent to s*** so I needto find away to take it offand replace it. I have someone helping me with it this week.

Seafoam is awesome! Follow the directions close. As for the tension rods, look in my build thread (link in signature) and you will see how I removed the bolts.

ive heard a couple things about it, but theres also people out there who dont like to use additives in their engines, so id like to know why its bad, if there are any reasons lol. My engine has around 70-80k miles on it (odomer and speedometer isnt working, dont think they hooked it up to the trans when they swapped it)

I typically don't like to put anything in my oil, but its pretty good to run it everywhere else.

How often does a motor oil related problem end up killing a car? Very rarely.

I've got an odd question. I've noticed in 3rd gear when I'm pushing relaly low rpms maybe 2k. My car will start to randomly lunge forward a few times as I step on the gas. What could be causing this? The previous owner hacked every mod down to the car, he "said" he brought it to a shop to do the 5 speed swap but I don't really trust any of the work done to the car.

Also when I installed my short shifter I didn't check if there is a gasket. If there isn't do I have to buy a new one or can I just lay down a silicone sealant?

If I've been running regular oil in my SR can I switch to synthetic next time I change the oil?

Dunno what you're talking about with the lunging forward... do you mean the car is bucking back and forth?

If its not leaking, I'd leave it alone, and I think you'd want a gasket on that surface. Typically you don't want to use a silicone sealant on a flat surface-to flat surface mate. If silicone was intended to be used, there would be a groove/notch cut in the metal all along the sealing surface. I can't remember if either of those 2 surfaces had that or not, but I don't think they did.

I want to say no. There might be something small different about them, because I think one was for an ABS equipped car (5 lug) and the other wasn't... but they should be interchangeable.

hey i just got my 1st 240 and i have a lot to learn. a little background, i'm in socal, the car is a 93 hatch with around 155k the compression is around 150psi on all. I plan on going KA-T, so please no "just save for an SR swap" i'll check out the sr on the next project! lol so now my noob questions:
1. I'm going to start with a 3" cat back, do I need to replace the cat itself? i was a 3" high flow cat on ebay,http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-Turbo- ... 742wt_1010 but i'm not sure if need it or if I can just bolt on to the cat back on the cat i currently have in.

2. HP goals i'm looking at getting about 300whp. from what i've seen on KA-T.org i can do that on stock internals however my compression test seem kinda low to me. i think that test means i need to replace piston rings, and that seems like it's going to be a pain, with my numbers where they are is it necessary before i turbo? and if i do need to replace the rings what else should i do while i'm in there? just fyi the kit i'm looking at is this http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... Code=240SX

thx again

Compression is on the lower side, I would re-ring her and do all the gaskets and just freshen the motor up before boostings. The stress of boost can cause problems (ring fatigue, cracking, blow by).

As far as the cat, yeah the stock cat will be a bit restrictive. But to pass smog it may be good to have, and run a 3 inch high flow or test pipe other days. But you dont # inch piping, while still being NA, its gonna sound like a slug.

print a list of all the synthetics, put it on the wall, and throw a dart at it.

We do have special deals for NICO members for Amsoil though.

The kit doesn't look too bad... its a little on the cheap side which would lead me to believe that its a cheap turbo. There also aren't very many specifics about the turbo, so that supports the theory. All in all, it would be a pretty good starter kit... just be prepared to replace the turbo at some point in the future (as well as injectors and add engine management).
