Looks like the V-Speed kit to me. It might just be the angle but it does look a little more aggressive, it may be an Origin kit. Check it out, see what you think...

Super HICAS (you forgot the S, probably why you didnt find any info) is an all wheel steering system, its pretty rare so more then likely you wont run into it, and honestly most people disable it if they are using the car for any kind of racing.

If you haven't already fixed it I'd check to make sure the spark plug wires are clicking all the way in. My 95 did the same thing right after I changed both plugs and wires last week. My plugs were fine, but the engine mounts are kinda loose and I guess it just wiggled the wire off cause it wasn't pushed all the way in. Maybe, maybe not. What brand plugs and wires do you have?

I need to change my wires, I'll be getting some tomorrow at auto zone. They are like $57 don't really know the brand I just know its all I can afford right now. I just spent 93 with tax on an injector! (thats a lot for me since I'm broke and my wife and I are expecting) I believe that one of them was clogged up so bad that one of the cylinders would not work. Its weird now after putting the one injector the car is idling good just once in a while it'll shake, someone said to change the wires so I'll do that. Now when I accelarate its when I get a shaking from the engine and what I believe is that one of the cylinders stops working but I really am not sure. Anyway tomorrow I'll change the distributer and rotor and the wires when I do I'll post the results. The spark plugs are new, I just got them no more then a week ago and they are bosch aka crappy but 6.99 each sounds like my limit for now.

Fixed it! Ok it was a simple case of changing the wires and the distributor cap and the rotor in the distributor. I wish I tried that before I spent $93 on an injector. The good thing that came out of this was that I use it as an excuse to buy tools if not my conscience would be saying

hey, im fairly new to the 240 craze, but when i saw the potential i was hooked....i found a '92 240sx Coupe for 400 and am already 3K in herhad the frame fixed, floor welded(holes) and new brake, gas lines. she has a KA with about 258000KM now im working on suspension, i.e. tension rods, brakes, lower control arms there all shot, its pretty much a salvage as you can see.... am i in over my head, should i jump ship before i sink with it. like i make ok money but i dont have a car and im only somewhat mechanicly inclined, like i can look at a diagram and kow how everything works without a mechanic but im just wondering cause ive had offers for 1500 to 2k to sell her.

It's too late for you. You won't be able to flip a profit at this point. Stick with it and learn to love it because you aren't breaking even either. Sorry.

true enough, i found a 91 with hicas on the weekend for 800.00 but u need to disable it with a kit or take a welder to it .

honestly do u want to be going 190km on the highway to show up a civic(really not worth it, u know u can beat em they now ull beat em, dont waste the gas! ) when u merge into another lane to pass someone or there to slow so u might end up in there trunk the rear might try to correct the movment and u will be facing the wrong way in no time

(when you turn pass a 30 degree radias the back tires turn the opposite dirrection to make it have a larger radias, i.e. u make a sharp right turn the rear tires turn left to help you turn quicker)

also an after thought.... ive noticed in high speeds the front end can pick up and u loose steering cause the tires just arnt on pavement, imagine in anysituation u panic (i.e. car stopped infront to soon or a tree.... anything) u turn hard right with brakes applied, u sweard cockeyed left and roll your nice car.

just my opinion of corse

closest i could find, not exact, but you gotta think aswell. a full sponsored car has some custom fiberglass and bondo handywork to give it the unique look, ull never find the same one, i recommend just going into the tuturial on the hood scoop and do the same with ur sideskirts, fenders just to give urself a more orininal car.

My gas pedal is sticking initialy on start up. Is that bad and how do I fix it if so. It only sticks when you first press it and jerks forward, but after the first time you press on 'er it acts normal. Why?? I've just been revving it a bit (not even up to 2000 sometimes) and it fixes it for the rest of the drive...is that okay?

the same thing used to happen to me. You probably have a dirty throttle body, so the butterfly valve gets stuck when its closed for a long time. I took my throttle body out (Remove throttle cable from pullet, 4 bolts and 2 coolant lines) and cleaned the ever living poop out of it. I got rid of the little ring around the butterfly valve with some mild sanding, and cleaned the rest with solvents. GL Buddy, and this problem will probably only get worse if you don't fix it.

I remember posting a question but for some reason can't find it. If for someone you mods and admins see it already posted elsewhere, just delete this. Thanks.

Anyway on to the question: I want to know if 1995-1998 240sx floor mats will work on 1989-1994 240sx's? Thank you in advanced, thanks!

Thanks so much, I'll try it in the next couple days and get back to you if I have any more questions.

yeah, if you are scared about opening your coolant system, you might be able to do it with everything still bolted to the car, but then you run the risk of getting some of that crap in your motor, but I wouldn't worry TOO much about that, its going through the air system, which is less finaky than the fuel system.

I recently just bought a 1997 240SX LE and i'm proud as **** about it. I have a few newbie questions though...

My car has been lowered and as a result the camber on the rear tires just eats away at the tread on the inside of my tires. Although the corning is great I can't afford to buy new rubber every season. I plan on buying adjustable rear upper control arms and toe control arms to get my camber back to 0 degrees. I've been looking at Kazama's, SPC's and Cusco's and i'm not sure which to go with. Are there quality issues from manufacturer to manufacturer? because there are fairly big differences between the prices. Or are you mainly paying for a brand name? Does anyone recommend a manufacturer?

I also haven't been able to find a downloadable fsm if someone could help me out with that.

Well, if the brakes are just making noise, that usually means the pads are worn down to the screecher maker thingy. If the pedal is all over the place, or if it brakes unevenly, look at the master cylinder, or a seized caliper. If its uneven, but predictable, look at Rotors too.
