Other times I feel sorry for him because some days I wonder if he truly just doesn't get it. He's certainly not doing himself any favors. What boggles me is how bad he rattles the rest of us.

So, can someone give me a small breakdown on the differences an SRI and a CAI gives in the powerbands?

this is pure speculation.... nothing you should take as fact and write a book about

but me and my friend were discussing it... and the SRI would increase torque while the CAI would maximize high end HP

the reasoning is complicated.... bit it basically has to do with the way the air flows.... it seems easier for the SRI to grab air at the hit of the throttle.... but it kinda lacks in cold air as you get up in RPM compared to the CAI because the CAI draws in cold air from an outside source

once again... not fact

i personally like torque... and think a SRI would make me happier

While the video might be extremely hilarious, it's use is nullified by the fact that I have no speakers at work.

That's what I'm hearing from some other people as well. SRI affects bottom end, while CAI affects high end. I don't like going beyond 4K on my car, so chances are I, too, would be happy with an SRI.

How do they affect gas mileage? If you don't have a heavy foot.

for the most part.... ANY bolt on will increase MPG if you keep your foot out of it

now i say for the most part.... because some people would consider my carb a bolt on.... and that decreased MPG horribly.... but an intake and exhaust 99.9% of the time are gas savers so long as you can keep your foot out of it

Thought so. An increase in power is suppose to help you effortlessly achieve your speed, but usually you end up abusing it. I'm never getting either part, but it's good to have it's knowledge.

My KA-T was "bolt-on", it involved a lot of bolts and not much fabbing. MPG SUCKS.

Subbed, like the words you see on the bottom of the television while watching a Japanese movie about farm animals?

Quite possibly, but he wouldn't be this angry and have so much time on his hands if he had a job.

I wonder, I still have the quotes from Nala's fail thread posted in here.

Do you think I'd get in trouble if I blasted them in to his next thread?

Agreed. LOL. Oh well, I guess he'll be happier once he gets his pro license and starts racing on Nurburging... by the end of the year.

Germany can keep him.

Do you need new shocks? Beefier sway bar might help, too.
