the new GT does look sweet...

right now I really want an old school Z car though. She can still like Nissan I suppose, but sometimes when you go to get a car they find youm that's how I got my t bird, I needed a car and cheap, it kinda fell into my lap so I figured I might as well have a relatively fast cheap car, knowing what I know about it now, I'd probably still have gotten it. She seemed to have liked her T Bird as well and is probably from a Ford family, we're weird like that in the south, families tend to swear by brands like that, my family hates Ford for the most part though:D

how did you get anything "dirty" out of my reply to GirlRacer's post? has it been that long for you that you could get off of such an obscure statement? how bizarre:confused:

Thanks Sky....

And that's my main question or curiosity. Why people that do not own a Nissan or Infiniti post here. I mean it's all about love for cars and that's great. Having a lot of members is a good thing. I just don't understand what draws people to a specific site. I came here because I've had several 240's and Nissan's for several years. I like to read and talk about them. Meet people with the same types of cars...blah blah blah. But I don't know that I would come here if I didn't own one or had no intentions of owning one. Maybe I have crazy logic.

As far as the boys go....you are just dirty. And of all people, you Nathan....geez....I thought I knew you better than that. ;)

GR i think has a right to speak here bcuz she could spank most of the ppl with musants that would challenge her:)

I do like mustangs, but it would have to have a v8 in it for me to drive it. I've always watned a LX 5.0 hatchback, or the new '03 sc'ed cobras are sweet too!

GR I agree with most everything you and Sky said but not all of it. I also questioned (insert-car-here)Rose's sincerity when she lobbed that bovine excrement about always wanting a V6 mustink...er mustang. This coming after her obsessing for months about about getting a Nissan. IMHO, I see Rose as an impulsive and enthusiastic kid whose dad got her a car that's not an ex-mom-hand-me-down-clunker. (Rose correct me if I'm wrong but) I think she's displaying some pride with her new wheels despite it not being a Nissan, and has not become a Mustang-Sally-pycho-fordaholic-damn-ye-Nissans type. She's a young enthusiast. I think you need to give her a little slack.

I also don't think owning a Nissan is mandatory to be here. Just an appreciation of Nissans. Heck I'm very active with the Audi club and I have an all Japanese fleet. I happen to like the Audi people and the events they have.

As far as the dirty thoughts, I think "uninhibited thinking" is a much better term for it. Of course us guys think about sex all the time. It just some guys are a little more obvious about it than others. But that's the nature of the male species. No exceptions.

All right to hell with it all. I am so going to Lotus! :D It was my first car and my grandfather gave it to me. He bought it new in 74. I love that car. So much fun even with poor power.

You see the dirty south thread? I am no redneck, Ignore the giant jacked up ford aerostar van behind me. :D

Geez, you're making me out to be an ***. I never really ragged on her or her car specifically in the beginning. Just said I didn't like mustangs and why I don't like 99% of the owners. It was after she ran her mouth and ticked me off that I went off on her. And if she's happy, more power to her but you couldn't pay me to drive a mustang. Maybe a brand new '03 or an older one. Anything in between is scrap metal in my opinion. And I never argued her posting here. I asked what drew people to a specific site if they did not own that type of vehicle. I personally wouldn't go to a forum of a car I liked but did not own to talk about it. You typically know more about a specific type of car after owning one for a while. But that's just me. The more the merrier I guess. Just didn't know what drew people here or wherever they spend their internet time.

I'm not trying to fight back here b/c I know you said you agreed with a lot but I think I was misunderstood.

ah ha! so you would take a mustang! :D

I don't much care for Fox Bodies personally, but man I want one with the DOHC 4.6 or an old Mach 1 or the '67 Bullit style cars.

I wish Steve McQueen was my father...and still alive:(

A good buddy mine is restoring a '69 Mustink Gt convertible with a 390, 4 barrel, and factory 4 speed. I drove it before he dissassembled it. Wow, what a fun car...in a straight line. Always drew a crowd. He also has an unrestored Boss 429. Very hard to accelerate that beast briskly without lighting up the tires, (which I found fun, of course) The only mustangs I might consider owning are a Rousch Stage 3, or a real Saleen.

GR, I didn't mean to offend, and I didn't think about sex when I read that reply either (snicker). I enjoy reading your posts. You rock.

One of my good friends has a 69' mach1 with the 429 SCJ and its in perfect condition with 60k miles. I rarely see it out though. The same guy has a 03' cobra as his driver and man it's fast.
