damn right, I have my "cute" ricer appeal, I found out my car can't throw trays very far either, they just kinda flipped up and fell down like 5 or so feet behind it:( this was from about a 2500rpm clutch dump...

Car: anything with wheels, and somethings without.

That's really impressive, but something doesn't add up.

He claims 14.9 stock, then a 12.8 w/ a 125 shot of n2o.A 125 shot will not give a stock body mustang +2 sec.Then he says 11.9 w/ 310 hp from the turbos.again not likely with a stock bodied 2000 stang.

Not that I don't believe him, I just think hes leaving somethings out.:D

We are talking straight line turns are irrelivent. Though I am sure you could build a pretty nice mustang for the cornering and what not. They do pretty well at the local auto x.

Unoftunately you'll find most people that own exotics could care less about drag racing, much less drag racing against people in cheap cars with chips on their shoulders.

I think he is refering more to kids with really expensive cars who think they are the shiz because they have a hot car. Yes they have a nice car,but 9 times out of 10 they dont know what they are doing and lack experience. Basically he is wanting to pick on kids. Probly steal their candy too.

my chips are chocolate! I don't have anything against exotics, if I had the money I'd own as many as possible. It's just people that don't respect what they have...

i challenge any of u to run the guy with the STI, he's only 17/18... but dont think that he doesnt know wat he has and doesnt know how to use it.... he brought out the M5 to one of our DTM meets, and after a little 'highway fun' for about an hour, the older BMW guys couldnt believe how that kid handled that car...at speed. lol anyways, yeah, that kid can drive, im sure he's taken driving courses b4, but he's very careful with wat he does. kinda funny tho.... o yeah, his dad owns an oil rig...i think

Surprisingly no. I've driven many British cars, but not an A-M...yet.

What are your thoughts on the Lotus Europa Bubba? I find myself oddly attracted to these ugly, yet cool cars. I assume it has the usual brit wiring nightmare. :(

I love Europas, and yes, I've driven one. Very cool cars to drive and to be seen in, but not a good car to own unless you're a mechanic with a reliable source for parts. When I was younger I came thisclose to buying a 1st generation Europa, the one with the renualt motor. (The later twincams were quicker). My father wisely talked me out of it as I was looking for a fun daily driver. I found Europa delightful to drive, very tossable (for such an old car), made all the right sounds and looks very cool, but it's very small, you sit very low, was very cramped, very underpowered by todays standards, and has some huge blindspots. And since it's a typical lotus, very fragile and unreliable. I think a restored Europa would make a great weekend car, but I wouldn't want to have to rely on it. Electrical problems and rust were the biggest problems. I believe NICO member Reggiespd has owned a few old Loti, plus a few a Jensen Healy's which I also think are cool British cars. I'm sure he'd be happy to share experiences.

yea, i saw the itatlian job a few nights ago and the mini grew on me. those little things will haula##. oh yea i went and had a little fun this weekend in my car, i got to lay the first burn out marks on a new bridge down here. i was getting mad cuz i thought afriend of mine had beat me to it but he didn't the marks i saw were marks from somebody slaming on brakes. i got my dad to investagate them. cuz i wasn't real sure. it got to play on a dirt road this morning. my dad was driving and hes mean so he wouldn't let me drive. but he said it surprised him how well it handles. he said i worry him because i have no fear and haveing no fear is going to get me hurt.
