GR while many points you made are valid I have heard it all before. Honda has a lot of morons behind the wheel. So does every other car company. Even the highend companies have jackasses behind the wheel of their cars. Hating the people and hating the car are two completly different things. From your statement you didn't really list any down points of the mustang or honda. I was hoping you could point out disapointments with build quality or cost vs. performance. Surly you have a more indept opinion of the classic little pony car, or the little H that could.

You're talking about the 427 CI small block 4 door car right? I doubt the bums will ever build it, but if Ford puts out the 427 concept I bet Chevy will probably swing the SS into production. Be pretty cool if they do though...

Damn GirlRacer. If I bought a honda will you hate me too? Depending on if my parents buy me a car or if I get to keep one of their 95 Maximas, I was going to save up for a 92-95 hatch as a second car/beater. When done right, they are good cars. Saying that they'll never be fast is completely wrong. There are many hondas around here that would deffinitely give you some compitition. I also hate most of the honda drivers, but I dont hae the car because of them.

Even Ford's ooooh aaahhhh Cobra and Roush(sp?) stangs can't hold a flame to my lil boosted 4 banger. So whoever thought those were fast needs a smack in the head. Even after a supercharger and nitrous a cobra only ran low 8's here in the 1/8 mile. (and yeah he was a good driver so do use that one) I'm not impressed.

Well unlees you are runnning low 12s in 1/4 mile I dont think you will kill a 03 cobra.

There are a lot of 12 sec hondas, or at least I've seen quite a few. But that's the point, everybody has hondas or mustangs. Not neccessarily because they're better cars, but because they're so cheap to build. Mustangs and Comaro's have always been competeing. Out of the 35+ years that they both were made, mustangs could outrun comaro's only 9 of those years (stock to stock of course). Ford got smart and decided to make the mustang more affordable. That's why before the comaro's were retired they totally out classed the mustangs in performance, but the mustang V8's could be had for less than 20k. The hondas are a similar story.

But that's why I love my S14, because they're so much rarer.

Since I know what GR has done for mods, I'd say she isn't to damned worried about anything that can't run consistent 11's. The 240 ways less and is quite capable of throwing down 350whp without ever touching the internals. Throw that against a bloated pig of a mustang (blower or Not) and everyone on the block will be eating bacon.

It really wasn't that quick till she swapped out the Kumhos for BFG drags and upped the boost to 1 bar. Now she can run consistent low 12's. It just depends on clutch slip, somtimes she hooks right up, other times she spins and gets a horrible 60'. But she can drive even for a chick...lol.
