Hours working on my car--i'd say at least 100 so far. New stuff learned--immeasurable.
I'm up to at least 4305 bucks and its gotten me a sanded/primered SOHC powered car from 1989...that i absolutly love. I dont care if it makes lifter noises or has at least 3 different colors of flat grey. its all about that rainy day in the big empty parkinglot.
Other 240sx: 1990, $1000Timing kit 100gaskets, tools, fluids and junk related to this job- 100expenses are still adding up on this car and its not even running yet. But i have a few people that want to buy her of course.
WISH LIST:Sell the 1990 240sx.Pro-Kit springs and AGX AdjustablesEach bushing replaced/ugradedStrut bars and powerbraces anywhere i can bolt emLimited slipPowerslot Q45 rotors, greenstuff pads, Autozone Q45 calipers and stainles steel lines. Seats that dont suckFinish painting my car
Theres thousands more before even talking about engines, at least 2000 to get my motor swapped in (i think i want an RB20DET but i change my mind waaay too often) then thousands more to upgrade the motor, then someday thousands more to rebuild it. (re-build it strong enough to withstand a nuclear attack at least i might at) Thousands here, thousands there. Since when did buying a 14 year old car turn into a 10-15 thousand dollar deal? Ultimate performance doesnt come cheap, and im struck with the car-guy gotta-upgrade-it syndrome.
