I had an 87 buick somerset that I got for free from my best friend. Then I got a good job and I went to the used car dealership with my dad and he chose the 2-4.

I had no idea what great car I had gotten into until I first took a look at 240sx.org. So you can say. I'm an original owner not a bandwagon hopper.

well, i made the big jump from the Euro Scene, i had a 94 Jetta 2.slow and that was when i was just getting into the impor scene, but then i totaled that and got a 95 Jetta VR6, i loved thayt car and swore to myself that i would never buy a 4 cyl. again, but then i found out about the 240's and i just had to get one, but i loved my jetta so much i wasn't looking that hard at a car, but HS was ending and id soon be out on my own, so i was getting readyu to by the Jetta (it was my parents "run-around car that was conveniantly purchaced when my sister got her licence :rolleyes )but then i saw my car for sale for 2500. its a 92 and i couldnt let it go by so i bought it and i love it more than the jetta! but i wil have to get another Euro eventualy :D o, and i will be taking care of that whole 4cyl problem this winter (i hope :D )

First car was an 83 AccordSecond (and current) is a 91 Civic Sedan DX

Hoping to get a 240SX soon, but current financial situation (getting through college) is preventing me from doing so. Thing is trying to pull off studying 2 semesters WITHOUT working. So I need to tighten my belt big time. So right now getting a new car is silly when I have a running Civic. But I have test driven a couple of 240's and love them.

So let's see how much I have at christmas, and if I can find work over Christmas holidays and go from there :)

Side note: I also love my little Civic. I don't think it will ever be anything close to fast without ALOT of work and money being put into it (turbo?). Not worth the effort when the thing runs forever and is showing no signs of dying at 161k miles. Even when I get the 240 I will probably keep the Civic since I know I can trust it to start (well, didn't 3 times in 4 years, but one time was all my fault)

my first car would be a 74 jeep cj-5 that i got from my dad's friend when i was a freshman in highschool back in 98, its an on going project since me and my dad like jeeps. though my first car that i got that i could drive on the road(since the jeep is in no condition to go anywhere) would be a 87 accord that i got from my grandmother, ran pretty well, picked up tons of speed, and i picked up a speeding ticket, then i got hit by a drunk driver and it was totaled, so i got my 240. :)

1st: '87 Nissan Maxima2nd: '90 Nissan 240SX SE fastback3rd: '91 Nissan 240SX SE fastbackLiked all of them. The first two still ran very good, but the Maxima needed a steering rack and axles. Had 177K when I traded it for the 90 240. Then the 240 got smashed in the rear. It also had 177k on it when it left. I've had the '91 for 5 years now. Still runs great.
