OK children - (I'm 61+) so I can say that!

I really don't think anyone took offense to any comments made - We are just having fun. Heck, my brother-in-law said my Black Sedan looks like a little version of a Black Secret Service car! Besides, I know if all of you HB lovers had a chance to do it all over - you would have bought a Sedan!

Haha, no. But i wouldn't hate on someone for liking the sedan. No matter how 'bad' it looks, it still looks a million times better than the Yaris sedan that i almost bought...

You, on the other hand, came here and took it upon yourself to get your panties in a knot and "defend the art that is the sedan"

Oh, you have to try a LOT harder to get there. Ask CodeRed... he's seen me when someone has ACTUALLY gotten under my skin.

Am I reacting? Yes. Why? bored as hell. Nothing to do at work today. Had there been something else to entertain me, I would have done what i normally do with one of your posts. Ignore it like the witless, Clipsed-like drivel it is.
Wow Hey EV, This is an open forum, if you want to have a private conversation, this is not the place for it.

Does the time you have been on the forum make you correct? I think not.

From my objective view GHR has gotten under your skin, so don't take the bait if you think that is what he is doing.

I actually think GHR was trying to be funny. The line about "I am smarter than you..." that is a reference to that science show on TV long ago - "i have a masters degree in science, i am smarter than you" - Bill Nye?

GHR, you were either being funny (i laughed) or you were being arrogant, arrogant is a bad thing. My dad always told me, never bait a bully. Of course this is not the old neighborhood.

Anyway, you guys are arguing over apples and apples, when we can all disparage much uglier cars like the PT Cruiser!

I'm going to go on a limb and say Red Dwarf.

Did I say I was correct? I was expressing an opinion. Something that everyone else in this thread was doing. What changes between users that what, for instance, Vahagn posts is an opinion but what I post is absolute gospel?

In my dictionary FTL stands for Faster Than Light, as in the hatch breaks the laws of relativity.

I like the versatility of hatches and have owned several hatchback cars in my time. I bought the sedan. Why?

I was ready to get the hatch until we looked at the room behind the rear seat. We often have three or four in the car, with lots of sports gear. There was not enough room in the hatch with the seats up for the cargo. The sedan has a large trunk for a small car.

Plus my other two vehicles are large (Sienna and Tundra) and can haul anything large so we didn't need the hatch for hauling bulky stuff from time to time.

Face it, the Versa is not a great looking car, in the sedan or the hatch version. I buy a car for it's versatility. It is a tool. The Versa gives you more bang for your buck over just about anything else.

In my opinion, I like both the styles but im not too sure on the sedans back end. Its ok looking an all but it doesnt really match the style of the car...not like the hatchback at least.

Just yesterday I came up on a sedan in the next lane. I noticed the Versa badge before I even realized it was a Versa. It's not like it's a bad looking car, but it sure isn't distinctive from the back. When I see a hatch, there's no question!

I went with the sedan. For one because everyone else has the hatch and two theres way more trunk space.

Feels good to be different..

We went with the hatch for

1. Flexibility (versatility) to be able to haul big things when needed. We've already had a recliner in it and I routinely haul two golf bags plus push carts in it.

2. Appearance was down on our list of priorities so we never really discussed it when we were buying it.

3. Hatchbacks were all the dealer was carrying at the time.

I went with the Sedan also.

I completely understand what's been said about the car looking odd at because behind the C-post, but the look has really grown on me. A little bit of the crazy European styling, if you will, in my mind at least. I like the look of it, and the Sedan's trunk and rear seat space fit my needs. The 60/40 split doesn't bother me in the least, as the car hauls what I need it to haul just fine.

I have finally seen my first other 2 Versas in the area, they're both Hatchbacks though. Both S models, one white, one sapphire blue. One was driving behind me once and flashed his lights, I think he understood how rare the Versas are in this area, haha.
