...So I started having power window trouble again, right when I was ready to put my door panels back on for good. I traced it to being the amp for the drivers window. When it wont go down all i have to do is push the connector in and it works. So hopefully i fixed that today. The circuit board had a lot of play on it inside the box. I could shake it and move it back and forth. So I pulled the board out and found no broken connections. I used contact grease on the board and connector prongs. I then used clear silicone to make sure there is no more moving around inside that box. So far, so good...

Aaaaand, JDM s14 Kouki tails. I bought these really cheap off ebay with a small chip even I barely notice with them on the car. Still have to do some alignment on the center garnish, but:

nice i thought you had to have the window out to replace the molding. how did you manage to do it with the window in?

+1 for a repaint, maybe a tad darker with more pearl lol

You take that bottom trim piece off then the old molding comes right out, and the new one goes right back in its place. Replace the bottom piece and your done! Much easier and less involved than the front.

Thanks! And no way, I love this color lol.

It sounds amazing as expected from HI-Power. I have always used this exhaust on my cars and it never disappoints. I know it will get louder as it gets broken in but as of now it doesnt drone bad at all! Couldn't be happier with it. Plus, for $420 shipped, who could complain?

Also, I gave myself a small teaser of the finished product. Man I can't wait.

Back to road trip prepping, until next time :mike

How did you adjust the window? Mine is too far forward. I took off the door panel, but honestly didn't see anything that looked like it would adjust it.

There are so many things to adjust in there its unbelievable. Both tracks adjust side to side, but the rear one has the most adjustment. It moves side to side and out/in. There are also the two stops that control where the window stops when it goes up. There are also the felt things that hold the window in place. These can be adjusted in/out. Its a matter of getting all of theses adjustments working in harmony. Once you move one adjustment, you have to move the others to compensate with it. It just takes the patience of working with it until you get it right.

Greetings from NC build thread followers! The road trip went really well. I logged 560 miles in 8 hours flat with only 1 stop. The car ran great. Today has been a busy day. My brother and I prepped the car for paint. We removed all the lights, the exhaust, front bumper, door handles, mirrors, and more. Heres a few pics:

I will be taking pics daily hopefully. Until next time :chuckle:

Damn, how is the underside of your car so clean?

Anyways, clean Zenki. All you need is a clear set of headlights!

Its because its been an FL car all its life, they stay clean that way... And thanks, I plan to work on the headlights this week while their off the car.

Well today I sprayed my wiper arms...

And I stopped by the dealership toward quitting time to scope the car out. They were finishing spraying the primer as I walked in. All the body work is done and he was gonna finish the primer before he left. The primer will be sanded tomorrow, then sprayed Thursday. So far its looking real good.

Thx dude. She has most definitely come a really long way! The wheels are awesome and aren't going anywhere. I feel like they give the car a nice oem look, but still have some style as well.

Thanks a lot guys. Well went to Carowinds all day and we stopped by on the way back in and hauled all my spare parts home from the body shop. Seeing all them makes me really giddy about getting this thing back together. Getting up early in the morning and putting it back together, then I will be heading back home to fl. I will have good updates coming this week, so stay tuned!
