Anyone complete Loeb's Rally challenge? I got a silver on the first race and a gold on the third on, but I can't seem to complete the second one, the race in Eiger Nordwand. I've done it about 12 times now, and keep missing bronze by 4-5 seconds.

PACE, PACE, PACE!

You need to stay aggressive! Also watch the "demo" video and you'll see how the AI would take on the course and get gold so you can pick up on some ways the AI hits corners.


Can some one post a comprehensive list of people who have GT5?

yeah some of those are hard. The licenses are difficult too but after a number of times I get the gold, granted I've only completed the 1st one. The car is freakin simulated. It turns so smoothly and doesnt skid at all and it angers me. Like the MB Gulwing on the Nurburgring special event and NASCAR. I can only get 2nd at best and still a couple seconds behind the gold. O well screw it, silver passes.

RCA I think there was a thread in General Chat about PSN names not too long ago. I think that needs to be moved here anyways.

Getting harder to find cars that can compete. In the expert series races, can't find a fast enough '79 or earlier car (with around 700hp).

And the GT All Stars races, race cars in there with close to 1000hp. I bought a GTR race car, only 620hp maxed out (can't do turbo upgrade) and that was over 1 Mill with mods.

and in regards to the 2nd top gear challenge... try turning on skid recovery force... finished it in like 3 tries. I got too frustrated...lol

My fat PS3 is working ok I guess. Sometimes I have problems starting up like the screen blinks grey and sometimes won't show the picture. Its only happened like 2 or 3 times and only on startup.

Could you also include known PSN IDs on 'the list' because some are different than nico.. like mine

I'm not always on. But ive already got like 80 cars and am always up for a race. Anyone figure out a good car to use on the GT Allstars race in A-spec? Ive fully built the Buggatti, the Enzo, the GTR, Gallardo, Ford GT and everyone of them gets walked on in that race. Trying to find something i can use without having to buy a Multi-million dollar race car. Anyone have any luck on this series. Mainly tired of using the High Speed Ring in the Turbo car races to get fast cash.

Also this game seems to get better and better the farther u make it. Dont be so quick to bash it! I'm lvl 22 and i was blind sided by a Zonda last weekend in the driverside rear wheel, my car was so messed up it couldnt be driven straight. I had to quit. Also, the physics of this game are worlds better than Forza 1,2. Never played 3 cause 2 was so bad they lost me

Alrighty, I'm gunna do the best I can to keep online meets going. I've got friends on ga16forum who'll be tagging along.

I created this blog to post meet info (time, type of races, etc) and will update it weekly. I'll put up pics on there the next day as well. Let's get this going, and hopefully we can all have a good time racing!
