A man should treat his wife/SO as his queen, and a woman should treat the man the same way. Not as a king, as that implies inferiority.

Too often I have seen woman treated like royalty, but then they turn around and walk all over their partner. That's not right.

*note* This is not meant to defend the OP in any way. He is an idiot!
For once Brien, I have to agree with you. A lot of women these days don't appreciate the good men in their lives.
Women like that, and guys like the OP deserve (a) each other, or (b) to end up alone.

The goal is to blow it inside her.

Or the inflated equivalent.

No. We are working on that, some people's names turn up in a navy blue. Not "our" blue. It's on the list.

O.P you have ALOT of maturing to do and if you don't pick up your act, you're gonna end up in divorce. :badboy:

Ha! You're one to talk. I'm not gonna bring out specifics, but it's hypocritical that you agree with Greggy Poo's post when you've done one of the things he downed.
Also you creeper. Watching wominz behind 'noculars. :chuckle:

Just checking in to agree with Bex, Greg, Michele, and anyone else that called out the OP.

I forsee divorce papers coming quickly at the ripe age of 27.

As much as it pains me to say this, I agree with wing here (anyone who has seen me go back and forth with him can testify to my disappointment with this statement). I still say the OP was just venting. He didn't claim to hit his wife. It also didn't sound like he went off on her from the original post. This might not be the venue for it, but let the dude blow off some steam. Somehow we jumped from frustration to killing kittens or something. Makes my head hurt. I need to go shower now, I feel dirty.

OP wrote: I f**king lost it and she got all pissed off and said I was making a big deal out of nothing and that I could go get it myself.
That to me says he flipped and started yelling at his injured wife for not bringing home firewood.
AZhitman wrote:
Because the natural progression for a man to verbally berate a woman is to raise his voice. Once that's not effective (and it won't be), the next logical progression is to use force.
I also agree with that statement. Not saying that the OP would do that, but losing it over some wood doesn't bode well.

Lol, I said wood. :chuckle:

Losing it != assaulting (verbally/physically) anyone. I've snapped before and yelled at inanimate objects. Don't go jumping to conclusions. Having said that, the next part of your statement is void since we can't prove the OP did anything to his significant other directly.

And you've never lost it over something stupid? Or maybe had something stupid be the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back? We all have long days from time to time and get fed up with the crap. So I can't faulty anyone for this...

Have I lost it over stupid s*** and started yelling at friends? Yes. Did I ever lose it and start yelling at my ex? Never. Not once. Yes, we got into fights. But never once did it escalate to us yelling at each other.

The reason being is that I know I have a bit of an anger issue. So, when I started getting angry to a certain point, I would bow out and go for a drive to calm down. Then I would come back and we could resolve the issue without yelling or me putting a hole in the drywall.

I didn't like it when she saw me angry. In the beginning of our relationship, she saw me get pretty angry and put a TV through a wall. I wasn't even mad at her, but it scared her. The thought of her being scared of me made me hate myself, so I have made a huge effort to learn to control that side of me so she didn't ever have to see it.

Precisely my point. At no time in the OP's statement did he claim he snapped in front of his wife. I said he lost it, but did not specify when/where/with whom. So you may be no better than he is... Just sayin'

I don't know, but that comment makes it sound like he started yelling about firewood at his wife. Maybe I'm reading this in a different way than you are? :gotme
