i have been watching some videos of sentra spec-v's with the stillen headers, will they sound similar to the way they are?

i mean, i think they probably would, but i really hope not, i don't like that kind of sound, but i need to hear a video of these even if it is a teaser clip or something lol. i just want to get an idea

You guys are joking when you ask for updates right?

It's only been 9 days...

We appreciate the enthusiasm but good parts take time. Even after a part is finished it takes about 30 days to make all of the fixtures and jigs and another 30 days to complete production.

We should have more info around the middle to end of May.

lol sorry Kyle, its just that since our cars see little aftermarket parts compared to others, we get REALLY excited and jumpy and tend to have little patience!!

im sry but isnt tht like a 30% drive train loss? seems a bit much..typically wouldnt tht be more like 15-18%.. then assuming 18%.. 143.5 +6+7+ an assumed 12 = 168.5

my POS mercury cougar was rated at 170hp flywheel, and dyno'd 131hp stock...I'd hope we'd be higher than that.

Yup exactly... ive mentioned this 15 times before and possibly in this thread. 30% is outrageous. The only thing i could think about would be that they dynoed a cvt but i doubt it.

if the car dyno's that low, we should complain and try to get nissan to do something to our motors like they did the 99+ cobras, they dyno'd a rediculously low number, so ford brought the cars in and added a new intake manifold and a few other gadgets

Haha thanks for the update

you are correct you got time. Im so excited about these coming out.

Anybody care to shed some light on what i am going to have to do about emissions? Am i going to have to unistall the headers each time i have to get the car inspected.

Either way i dont care but just want to know. Also can it damage the car, installing and uninstalling the header?

I noticed you lived in PA dldjros69, I live in VA and if your emission tests and laws are anything like ours these headers won't pass the tests because of the CAT removals. I mean, Virginia is probably the worst place to mod a car, I've gotten pulled over so many times for noise. I just planned on getting my state inspection this month then working on finding a friend that works at the emission tests and would pass my car for some cash for next year.

Find a local shop that will "inspect your car, without inspecting it".They dont have to do any work and you dont have to do any either!

Installing and removing this for inspections will be very costly and time consuming!

Kyle, as always, if you need someone out on the east coast for a demo, you know who to call!

I plan on doing the install myself so yeah i guess you are talking about being very time consuming. You are correct.

Im gonna have to talk to my pops about finding some lick em stick em place.

Id like them to make sure everything else is ok though, and just over look the emissions.
