Jacko, are you 'flogging' these Mustangs at the track??Jacko3 wrote:MFL28:
I have been flogging every single Mustang in my area for months.
Do you have the Neuronet processor from Terminator 2? It's a learning computer . Dude, can you ship me some of the stuff you have been smoking? It must be really good stuff!Jacko3 wrote:The computer in the G-35 makes the G-35 drive faster or slower depending on the xteristics of your driving---it learns your driving style (my mechanic told me this). So, a G-35 thst is driven very gently on a routine basis willnever hold up to any Mustang because it takes time for its computers to re-learn the new aggressive driving style. So, my computer has actually learned the fast and furious style, so I am able to hang or beat every Mustang in my area.
Add the fact that there is nothing out there that sounds as sweet as a good exhaust on a V8 and you see why the Mustang is a favorite. All you have to do is drive a Mustang GT convertible, (or a Cobra vert) and listen to the exhaust and you're sold. I love my G but it will never sound like a Ford V8.MFL28 wrote:I'm just not going to convince any of you guys now am I? Come on now, I don't doubt your 07 coupe can beat me. Yeah Mustangs, for the most part, do have more bark than bite, but I love the bark anyways. lol I appreciate the candid discussion. It's not a huge deal. I'm not here to knock anyone's car (as if you could really find much to knock about a G35). I don't do that anyways. There have been discussions on stang boards about..damn ford is really sucking it..300 horse from 4.6L and you've got manufacturer after manufacturer putting more power out than that from way less displacement and the consensus is really that Ford has always and will always sell the crap out of Mustangs because it's an American classic and people will always buy it because of what it is. It's old school, people love the look and the sound and the cost and the nastalgia behind them..even if the Japs can build a much better performing car. off topic, sorry
What ever do you mean?goneracin wrote:I knew you couldn't resist putting up a pic! Now who's misbehaving SVT?
If you've ever owned a Mustang, you will develop a two mile radar for the exhaust sound.
Look, it's in front, was that a Shelby Super Snake?nuclearcarnie wrote:This discussion is why I did a turbo install on my 06' Coupe. Now there are no what ifs to even consider. GT Mustang? What GT Mustang, seems like there was one here a second ago but now I can't see him in my rear view any more... :-)
Perhaps AzG35 will be along to you.G_Whizz wrote:It's like a hit of acid... what did you expect for $5 bux??

It's not really about what kind of car you drive that makes you fast, it's about who has the least amount of respect for a dollar bill that makes the car you drive fast.rn79870 wrote:

Just remember, there is ALWAYS someone faster.....and he's probably driving a MUSTANG!!!nuclearcarnie wrote:
