I have no loyalty to either. They both need serious improvements in terms of available cars. Far too narrow a spectrum of popular cars, and a lot of potentially fun cars get left out. Where are all the big European supersedans? Not in the games, that's where.
Also, if racing games have Civics and Corollas, they should have Maximas. Dammit. I require an 84, a 91 SE, a 94 SE, a 98 SE, a 2001 AE, a 2003 SE, and 2004 SE. Then I'll be happy.
Also, why no GOOD Infinitis? Who cares about the G? I want Qs and Ms and FXs! Why do the big Japanese cars get ignored? 93 Q45t with HICAS and 93 Q45a, please. A 2006 Q45 Sport wouldn't hurt the lineup, either. And then of course a 2003 M45, a 1990 M30, 95 J30.
And where are the classic Skylines? Hello? Yeah, when someone makes a game with a C110 2000 GT-R, let me know.
But they're both way too skewed in favor of common Japanese brands. Do we really need 19 Mitsubishi 3000gt variants? How about we axe some of them (or all, since the 3000gt sucks) and replace them with some cars that are actually interesting?
