Theres pros and cons to both games. I do believe that the steering reactions and physics are a little off even for a race car. cant say ive ever locked up all tires though, but i dont think ive driven a car w/o ABS in that game.

I'm pretty sure that plan is only for Sprint. You can switch from Nextel to Sprint for free but you have to get a Sprint phone.

Kind correct the 60gig version has full backwards compability with all ps1 and ps2 titles. The 80gig version has some where in the neighborhood of 80 or 90% compability with the ps1 and 2 games.

If GT5 prolouge is anything to go by and considering thats its a preview of the full game I would count on it, GT5 will be GT4 with next gen graphics and a cool in car view.

gt5 anyday, i played gt1 and 4 played forza also didnt really like the driving physics as much as gran turismo. The cars and options to do things in forza though are the best. IF they could only merge the driving of gran turismo with the customization of forza.

Thank you, I was seeing that everyone was missing the whole point. In any GT you buy upgrades for your car right. But thats as far as you go. If some one else with the same car and mods comes along, your equal. With both Forza's, you tune the cars after the mods to make them unique. Gear ratios, tire pressure, ride height, camber, caster, sway bar adjustments, shock adj., brake pressure, downforce, and a lot more. With all the tuneablility of Forza, GT has nothing for me. GT just lacks that "simulation" factor I love about Forza 1 & 2. I would probably like Forza 1 better than GT5.

Uh...in the GT series, you can tune the car also. I have a S13 Silvia slammed on some mesh wheels.

I've been playing GT since the first one so i'll keep playing them.

Forza 2 is the racing game for the MLG.

In an E3 interview with IGN (missed due to all the noise), Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi said, "There's no plans in the works for GT5 yet - that might be 2009, or it might be 2010... But we're totally focused on getting the updates through for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, and that's all we're focused on."

So there focused on putting out updates for a glorified demo of GT5 instead of getting the full game released.......................This is living?

just to clear it up ... GT5P is a Prologue and not a demo.. the game is constantly getting updates on the fly.

meh im not one to sit here and debate racing games anymore. that's what reality is for. However i can say the inputs i give a car on GT is very very close to reality. PD puts a TON of time into its game... and yes damage is coming this fall.

it is GT5 once the "finial" is ready, you will just simply be able to download the updates just like now.... so you don't have to re buy the game.

all they are doing is utilizing the networking now.. Like PC has been doing for years.
