1 core aluminum (if it's the same as the ka24de). Autos may be 2 core.

The size is an approximation, just make sure it's 3 core and 260z.

The 260z radiator has both inlet/outlet on one side. Like the sr20det. I do not know if it's the side you need though. I'd check it.

200 dollars??? Say no....

If you cannot find a better radiator, make something like this to extend the pipes...

Or get 2 "L" hoses, and a straight tube to connect.

look for a 3-row radiator from a Camaro (early 70s?) and measure..

ei... the problem isnt the hoses... all the radiators cost the same $$ .... i mod my stock radiator and i pay 15 bucks to mod it . (change the position of the lower tube )

=))) i need to find and buy a electric water pump too, because its only 1cm fan-radiator (the fan dont have the fanclutch and is a mod fan too) ... this swap makes me poor jhahahahaha

The Merk's came with two different turbos (depending on transmission)Stick: .60/AR T3Auto: .48/.60 T3 (faster spool times.)

I'm using a motor from an automatic.

It's the 2.3 (Non-SVO/Turbocoupe) T5 out of a mid-80's Mustang. I'm a member at TurboFord, Merkurclub, and Merkursport, so I have a bit of experience with the 2.3 and such.

The clutch is from a 88TurboCoupe. I'm just sticking it in there to get the car up and running before I get something heavy duty (Centerforce, or otherwise).

Been there done that? ?How about some wiring harness advice?

cool maik. If you can, can you take side and overhead pictures of the engine w/respect to the radiator. I'd like to see the clearance btwn them.

btw, spray some enamel on the welds of the driveshaft to prevent corrosion. I don't know how permanent the inverted exhaust is gonna be, but have you thought of other ways to route it?

I am Just curios as to why you did not get another motor other than ford w/ the carb. BAd gas mileage. Why not drive to texas and pic up another 240 motor for cheap or a 300zx motor

i think convert my ka24e to a carb... but em... ... in mexico... the ford v8 are cheap =)... about gas mileage... i improve a little + little than the ka24e... i do aproximate 8 km/liter .....

v8 302 carb.... i do 8km/liter....the old ka24e efi ... 4-5 km/liter ....

this v8 is strange... i feel more powerfull because i press a little the gas... and the engine dont rev... and it acelerate very fine... when i do a test... into my had 4 peoples ( with me ) and i press a little gas and the aceleration was a little less than when i drive alone......

when i did this with the ka24e.... haaaaaaaaa... like a turtle.. it hasnt that aceleration with not rev the engine....

i dont tell that the ka24e is bad...i like it because was a part of my car... but if i try to do it powerfull.. i need to expend muuuuuuuuuuch $$ ....

because i dont live near to usa, i decide to do like that . if i was live near to usa, i try the 2.0 turbo !!!

=))))
