For us non metric types:

v8 302 car 18.8mi/galka24e efi 9.4-11.6mi/gal

I wonder what was wrong with the KA24E? My KA24DE gets about 9km/L (21mi/gallon) in the city, and that is on the low end of the typical KA mileage spectrum. On the highway, I can get 12km/liter (28mi/gallon).

I like it so far. I've had my share of bad teachers/boring classes, but so far so good. Yeah, it's fun, but like all engineers, it's nothing but physics and design. I'm still undergraduate (going to upper division), but it's because of the double mayor.

Hey maik, i`m curious as to how your car turns and handles with the v8 compared to when it had the ka24e. Did/do you ever push the car in turns or corners? I`m pretty sure you spin the tires a lot more now with the v8, so I know it`d be a good drift powerplant, I`d just be worried about overheating it if it was sitting on the revv limiter for a long time.

I wouldn`t mind being a v8-in-s14 pioneer, ford v8 anyway. Lord knows it`d be easy to find a motorset and installation help where I live. I`m pretty sure Alabama is the musclecar/drag car capital of the world, at least alongside detroit.

you has the point... i have more weight at the front.. and now.. i havent good suspencion at the front... the front stabilizer is disconnect. and i need to fix it... its easy to oversteer into the corners... i dont have overheating problems now.. because i change the stock radiator with other more eficient .

Sounds cool, a front sway (stabilizer) bar would definitely help tune out oversteer. If possible, you should get a nice rear sway/stabilizer bar to keep the nose heavy machine from understeering either. Down the road you could throw on some upgraded suspension like AGX struts with eibach springs and you`d be set to go road racing, or at least to do a little autocrossing. I don`t think you`d want some super stiff coilovers for mexican roads.
