I got a question for ya. A while back, I drove my S13 through a puddle in the road. The car started vibrating so hard, I thought the exhaust had come disconnected some where. What do you think would cause that?

Puddle? Or pothole filled with water?

You may have thrown a tire out of balance or ever bent a wheel.

Big puddle that overfilled into the road. No pot hole. Never happened since.

You probably got water on the distributor or something.

It was chassis related. Anyway, I just need to get off my *** and check things out.

I got bored at work today so I pulled the S13 into the shop to flush the diff and transmission.

Both were nasty as poo, and the difference is noticeable, shifting being much smoother, and quieter.

I also took the time to look into some new snow tires, as the WS-15s on it are a little tired. I think I may end up going with a set of Blizzak Revo 1s, as I get them at a HUGE discount.

Too true, but I have a feeling one of the tires is beginning to separate. When I had them on the balancer one of them had a little hop too it, and Ive noticed a slight vibration at certain speeds. It was ok when I first put them on but now it seems to be increasing in strength. I guess it was bound to happen considering the age of the tires.

As for the deck, I will just deal with the AIWA until it gives out entirely.

Well, at least you've got round rims to work with. Glad the tires could be of some use though.

No doubt, I dont really have much spare moneys right now, so I may just end up getting 2 tires for the time being.

I was finishing up the winterizing on the S14, and I took some shots of the two S's side by side.

I had the front ends facing out this time, at Official NICO Post Whore's request.

Figured I would do a little update.

I repainted the window and door trim, no more peeling/fading hooray.

I also picked up an Injen intake from a local member, no more torn acordian tube YAY.

I will snap some pictures tomorrow, I also need to fix the drivers side lap belt buckle. A piece of plastic broke free from the button while I tried to buckle in. It made its way into the mechanism, rendering it completely useless, so Ive been rocking a shoulder belt only for the last few days. I plan to take it apart and remove the plastic. If thats a bust, I will just tare the S14 stock belts out, and put them in the S13 (S14 has harnesses anyway).

Nice find, I just picked up a 116k mi 720. It amazes me when there are old cars with low miles.
