If we are not able to secure more ecus from rob.. I would like to spearhead the movement to make more. I haven't taken apart my 90 ECU to see if there is a daughter board like the S14 ecus need... PM me or E-mail me at illtww(AT)yahoo.com and we can go form there. I have the equipment to do the programming.

E-mail is better!

Mine showed up last week... put it in last night. Even at 110 degrees here in Phx it makes a difference. Running on Stage III, haven't even tried the Stage II.

Thanks Wes/Robert!

Also thanks to Jeff... just received my strut tower brace... very nice!

Just got the ECU today. Just a couple of questions. Do I dis-connect the battery first? Do I attach the wires or leave alone?

There were no directions and I'm not that mechanical.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Back in the states and would love to get back on the ECU list :P. Sounds like they are going back out, ive got the time and a spare car so I can spare being without the Q for a few days as I fix her up anyways... Whats the process?

Thanks Wes and Robert, received my ECU yesterday, installed today. On accident, I ripped a huge smokey peelout leaving my apartment complex for the test drive. Lol. You guys rock!! Thanks for the hard work, 250$ seems like a bargain. (Miata upgraded ECU 995$)

Here's what I did Rich, (cheap-college-kid way untill I buy a switch)1) Disconnect battery Neg- for safety2) Strip a little from both little wires3) Twist wires together (for Stage 3)4) Insert twist into waterproof connector and seal it up good5) Install new ECU (note: plastic knee trim piece [with the light on it] comes off with a good tug, it's held on by clips. It is typically necesarry to pop it off for a minute to access the upper ECU screw)6) reattach kick panel and battery Neg-done

I want a NICO ECU. PLEASE CALL ME AT 410-243-1207 OR E-MAIL ME AT [email protected], AND GIVE ME INSTUCTIONS ON PAYMENT ETC.....I HAVE A Q45 1994 TCS. MY Q HAS BEEN A LITTLE SLUGGISH OVER THE YEARS, AND i BELIEVE THIS MODIFIED ECU would help. I am desperate for a good performance ride once again.Gregory Tate

I probably should have gotten one before I got the kinks worked out of mine Well, so much for hindsight.

Greg, if your Q is not running top notch then I don't think a nico ecu would do it justice; Get that baby running like new, then add the goodies. You'll get plenty of help/advice along the way!

Anybody wanna loan me theirs!? I have to know what I'm missing

New member. Is someone still doing ECU mods for 2002 Q's?. If so, please post contact info. I would not provide my own core since I do not have a back up verhicle. Using my local Infiniti dealership is not an option. Worst in country.

No, those era ECUs arent worth messing with. I watch some FX45 boards (same motor and transmission, basically) and they dont get nearly the same power as we do out of ours.. Their ECU's cost like $800 and they get 10HP at maximum, we get about 30. 10HP is hardly noticeable.

I have a 90-95 non-TCS core for sale if anyone needs it, so you can still use your Q when the NICO ECUs are up and running again. $80 is what I paid for mine so $80 it is. If you're interested, email me (click on my profile for email address). I only ship Priority mail.

I will give it a few days then put it on ebay for 80
