Dude, no way. There's too much good and joy in life to ever want to give up!

If you think that you do, I seriously recommend that you get some help.

it's really hard trying to talk to somebody who is so intent on killing their self.

I also get down on my luck every once in a while, but you just have to think about the good things that are going to come your way. Everyone has a string of bad luck and I certainly know I do/will. Just hang in there man, it will get better.

Seriously bro... when life deals you a crappy hand... cowboy up and bluff your way through. The more crap you go through.. the more of a man you become. Does ANYONE really have it easy all the time? I think not... it's part of life... ya know... puts hair on your chest... thickens the skin... all that macho stuff!

Dude, don't do that man. It's not worth it. Even when you don't think people care about you, they do. Taking your life is worse for your friend's and family than yourself.

Luck will eventually turn your way. The worse your luck is, when good luck strikes, it strikes harder!

When you have the support of your friends or family that really helps you get through the rough sh*t in life. For me, i don't get any support from my family at all, i have to find it from my friends and co-workers, and that really helps me out. So do hobbies :)

The easiest thing to do is give up, don't let it ever become appealing!

If everything were good all the time, life would be boring! :)

It is how we deal and manage with the "bad times" that makes each of us who we are. And it is how we deal with "good times" that makes it worth the while to make them happen when things are bad. Balance in all things above all!

Also, "good times" only makes sense when "bad times" exist - it is the comparison that makes it even possible! Said another way: without "bad times" there are no "good times". Biblically speaking, it is the raison d'etre for the existence of Satan. :)

This may sound way too simplistic, but I strongly suggest that it is best to keep it simple when life may be confusing around you!

So, whenever you get into a position when all seems bleak, say to yourself "This too shall pass", and look forward, with hope, to the times when it ain't so bleak.

Regards,

Z

I assume you mean the drinking and the guns ... if so, you are absolutely right.

JayPat, if you are going to drink whenever things do look bleak, then start by locking away the guns and giving the keys to somebody else for the duration. Else, don't drink. You, above all, are in control of these decisions and actions.

And, in case you were wondering, there is nothing wrong with asking for help from all of us here. And elsewhere - professional if need be.

Success stories all begin that way. How the story ends is up to you. It's the hard times that show us who/what we're made of.

I sometimes fell like not going into work, instead I would drive my car sideway through tireracks test course all day. I know I need to go back to school too. I fell like giving up half, like waking up at noon and not doing anything until night comes. Well the new job I work at is making it better, good pay and they are paying for my schooling. You just have to think that there is something better that is going to happen and that your are not going to let those things get you down. Nick

I think that at some point in everyone's life they feel the way you do. The trick is to keep going no matter what. You have to have faith that things are going to turn around for you.

I realize that it's easy for someone to say that is not in your position. Some of us have had really bad things happen, yet we endure and in the end triumph over adversity. You can't give up on life simply because at this present moment in time, things are not going your way. Believe in yourself. Believe that life will get better. Sometimes it just takes time.

Go see "Garden State"... it's one of those movies that's really depressing but makes you feel good if you're really depressed. Also go get some John Cusack flicks... romatic comedies can make you feel better if everything sucks.

Everyone has it rough some time, what defines you is how you respond when the outlook is bleakest.

Yep, so many times I've lost count. I either end up on my bed for days at a time or failing school or both. I'm a bright kid but as Ernest Hemmingway said, "Happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing I know."

So just lay back and close your eyes. Take a few breathes, and let things just ride, bud. Talk to your friends, they'll help you out, mine did.
