I paid what is posted on the Stillen site, $238.16. I asked for a little discount to the GB price but was offered the *NEW* Stillen intake for $229 insted. I missed the GB waiting for a fix to the sensor location so for both parts I saved $20 off regular price.

hey josh, i was on the phone with Dean today about the eibach springs installation, and he said its $250 for installation. but you just said its 200 on special? Does that mean i can get them installed for 200? if so that 50 bucks i'm saving is BIG, (well to me anyways haha).

i'll give another call back tomorrow, my springs are on reserve too.

Dean probably forgot about the current service specials... normal install is $250, but it's discounted.

It's definitely $200.. and it's labor.. non-taxable.. :D

whoa, thats a fast response, this is why i like the customer service, and the stillen crew lol.

i have one question josh, if i order it right now online, or by phone tomorrow, will it arrive the next business day? and as for the installation, 200 sounds good, but i think my friend decided to help me out in that department

Awesome, just to be clear though, what all do I need to do? Just order the parts on stillen website? And then what? And is that a new intake? Looks like it might cost less then the ingen one. Does it work as well?

nismofool.. Yep.. you can order online, or call in tomorrow, and it will ship tomorrow.. you're in LA, should arrive to you on Weds, pending no UPS hangups.

Good for you on finding someone to help with the install.. sometimes that adds to the fun of modifying vehicles.. I always love working on the improvements.. hate the repairs.. LOL

Stryker617.. you can simply order online from the STILLEN website, use the coupon code EIBACHGB, and after the order is processed (before the card is charged), it will be reduced to the GB price.

As far as the intake system, we've been creating intakes for a very long time, with a specialty in the Nissan/Infiniti tuning area. We believe our intake will hold up against any of the current offerings. And yes, it is priced less than the Injen, at $229. http://www.stillen.com/product...ltima

EDIT: Currently the intake is only for the 3.5L.. look for the 2.5L soon.

Josh, how often do you have to clean the filter? Also, do you have to replace the filter? If so how much is it and how often do you have to do so?

I'm still undecided on these springs.... The Eibach springs are different from stock because they lower your car and have a higher spring rate right? Therefor your stock dampeners that you have now are not designed for These new springs and will be compressed more, wouldnt that lead to damage? I mean you should be fine for a while atleast, but eventually if you went over something and it caused too much compression your suspension could break.....And that wouldn't be covered in your warrenty

Help prove me wrong because i really want to get these, however my brother (the engineer) said not to.

Forgive me if someone else has asked these questions but after the first two/three pages I have not seen any definitive answers. Taking delivery of my 3.5 SL on Saturday and dont want to miss out on a great deal. Thanks in advance guys.

Does the lowering kit void manufacturer warranty at all?

Will we need to add a camber kit to align the wheels properly?

Any idea if there will be rubbing on a 18x8 30mm offset running 245/40/18?

1. It doesn't void it, however if a problem occurs in your suspension, if nissan can prove it was due to the springs, your repair will not be covered under warranty.

2. No camber kit needed

3. The have been rubbing issues on the 2.5 Sedans, i don't think any have been reported on the 3.5. If your suspension remains stiff enough, those wheels will do just fine.

I know doc. is running a 35mm offset but not sure if anyone on Nico has lowered theirs with wheels with a 30mm offset yet (I could be very wrong). If it were me, I'd try to find some wheels with more + offset.

Hi JoshI install my springs and the exhaust (axle back) and I have two questions:1- now when i am driving and come to a stop, the rpm's goes down till 1200, stays there for a few seconds and drop to 800 all the sudden. Is this happening to other people, is this related to a lower back pressure and driving the oxigen sensor crazy?2- after installing the springs the shop aligned the car and i noticed a drift to the right. Came back and complain and said it is normal and nothing can be done that most of the time this happens to Honda's and Toyotas and the only way to adjust is with a camber kit. So I argue with them and went to the dealer and they ask for them to redo the alignment cause I thought it was done wrong. I was with the mechanic looking every step of the alignment and he put it back to factory settings supposely, still, goes better but have the drift to the right continues. Mind that the car drove straight as an arrow before replacing the springs and touch the alignment. Is this happening to other people or just a bad luck, the parameters now are to specs so dont know what to think...help please?

Thats what I was wondering, anyone having problems getting a good alignment? Also, I know that alot of alignment machines require your car to go up ramps and lowered cars may scrape on the way up and down, Has anyone scrapped getting an alignment done?

Yeah man, I e-mailed the shop and they quoted me 200 so that's very good considering the idiots I have here trying to charge me between 400-450!!
