**** you all I'm gonna be bidding on one of those before it ends...I wonder if this is a limited time thing, or if it will be like their manifolds (they are now listed as low as $120 and no one bids on them. Cause then I'd know whether to wait or not.

Go nuts kiddies... they are listing them every day now at 4:30pm (eastern). So just bid on them in succession. There are only a few of us here. If someone feels they need to outbid me, go ahead and try. And if you succeed, I'll just bid on another coming up. I am patient

Thats funny I was planning on outbidding you 5 sec before the auction ended. but I'll hold back for the next one I'm just happy they have more than 1 for sale! i hope they keep posting these everyday that way we wont have any competition amongst eachother.

By the way, what do you guys think about this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33630

I'm planning on getting this, just wanted to see what you guys think first. Thanks!

LOL..... THANK YOU. You woulda had to bid pretty high though... my max bid is 'around' $400. As for the super duper... I have the catback already, and I am bidding on the manifold/O2/downpipe, so essentially I will have that. I think it's cheaper to buy the manifold/O2/downpipe for $150 then the catback for $195 than to buy it all together.

I'm thinking about just getting an N1 dual cause 1) I really like how they look 2) I like how they sound, not too loud, and 3) by the time I get a ****ty exhaust its going to be expensive once you add shipping and I can get a new n1 dual for around 500...

but for the intercooler, yeah thats a good deal.

hey C-rad is this the catback youre talking about?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33630

Does this bolt on to your stock cat or does this replace the cat and bolt right onto the downpipe? I'm intrested in this instead of the super duper one now =) let me know.

Yeah, thats the one. It bolts to your cat converter. The downpipe that comes in that 3-piece package will replace the cat.

Sounds like you bought their 'turbo back' exhaust rather than the catback.

I'm just not seeing that cold pipe (in the pic) lining up.......looks like a low port design (S13 SR). I'm hoping they just forgot to change the picture.

Compare the coldpipe above with the one from their S14 IC kit;

Well, that's so minor it won't even bother me even if it does come like that. Of course it will be NICE if it all bolts right up, but honestly, I'm not expecting it

I'd be extremely pissed if they sent me the cold pipe pictured in the top picture. Of all the piping in the kit, that peice is the hardest to reproduce with DIY metal piping.......therefore is the most important pipe to receive out of all peices. On the hot side you can use two elbows and an aftermarket hotpipe/bov combo, but there's no easy DIY "off the shelf solution" to use going to the throttle body from the IC.

The reason I even care about this is because a guy from my local boards who works with SSA has an S13 SSA FMIC kit group buy going and I've been asking him if I could get an S14 cold pipe instead (which would make it bolt up to the CA), and he told me they were months off from having the S14 piping. If the piping is wrong maybe he can get it changed for us.

Anyhow, post pics of what you receive if you get this kit.

thanks,

if I paid that much money for an intercooler "kit" and I had to modify it I would ask for a refund. If I have to weld I might as well do it myself.

Apparently you and I differ on the term 'that much money'. It's $300. The GReddy SR V-spec kit is $650, does NOT come with the hot pipe, and the same mods need to be done. Oh, and the GReddy core is tube/fin. I'll take it for $300 then spend less than 10 mins connecting it to the throttle body.

Yeah but 1) I don't think they will stay that low2) I paid 1400 for my car and 900 for my swap... 300 is a lot of money. consider that I HAVE an fmic and mandrel bent piping at my house already, all I have to do is go home, figure out the one end tank (stock pipe bolted to it, that won't work) and cut and weld the piping. So $300 > $0.But the ss one looks better, probably is better, and certainly would be easier to install, and I wouldn't have to go home, or trust my ****ty welding skills.

That's the crux of it. I have a pile of mandrel bent piping too, and an intercooler, some t-clamps, etc. at home. I do work on my welding with my crap-tastic Home Despot welder and read whatever I can get and at some point I'm sure I'll be able to consistently generate a clean solid airtight weld around a pipe with a minimum of waste attempts. Unfortunately that'll be around 2007 and I'd like my car to run some time before that. Its a matter of practicality.

Once i get mine as well Ill post a pic of the actual kit. I'm bidding on the one after C-rad's lol. If everything matches up I'll have an s14 cold pipe for sale. I won this a few days ago, then i found out about this fmic kit haha.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

So if everything in the fmic kit fits Ill re sell this s14 coldpipe.

C-rad: so that downpipe will replace the cat and the cat back exhaust will bolt right onto the downpipe then right? thanks for all your info btw, im going to go your route instead now lol.

Who did you email and what exactly did you say? Because I have never gotten an email response from them about anything...
