The setup is perfect for street use. The only thing is the exedy clutch is a BIT hard for daily use. You wouldn't notice the difference between a factory ECU RB25 and one with Microtec. I spend $250 on the dyno

What made you go with the LTX12 vs the LTX8 computer? Now that I got my motor for so little, a Microtec is definitely feasible.

"The MicroTech LTX-8 is a fuel and timing controller. It controls Air/Fuel, Timing, and up to 8 low impedance injectors or 16 high impedance injectors. This computer includes the modules."

I don't see why if it can control 16 injectors, and when there is a wiring diagram on Microtech's website for a 6cyl Nissan (http://www.microtechefi.com/mt_wiring.asp) it couldn't run a 6cyl motor. I do not have any experiance with this computer, so can you see where there would be confusion.

Sorry to hear you got robbed bud. G35 sounds like a nice replacement.

Here is the info I found from when I wrote Microtech about the LTX8 vs. LTX12:

"You can run an LT8 on a 6 cyl. You just use 3 injector drivers running 3 goups of 2 injectors. The main difference with this over the LTX12 is that the 12 will run the 6 cyl sequentially with 6 drivers .The 12 has some other nice features also but as the running of the injectors and ignition goes thats the only difference.Regards, Tim"

I will definitely go with the 12 for the ability to fire sequentially.

Hey peeps, I'm new to the board. I was lookin and see that alot of you like the Microtech over, say, Power FC. . . why is that? Also, What clutch do you all recomend? Oh, one more thing. I'm in the market in a RB25DET front clip. Who would be the best place to buy one from?

Thanks,Jeramy

Not to be an a-hole or anything, but there's a nice red button on the top right of the nico screen called SEARCH. It's your best friend. :D

Or msg some of the guys on AIM or whatever messenger they use. You'll get flamed alot less if u use the red button though. Think of it like the red vs blue pill...
