So if I understand this then your two pumps don't really work together to supply the fuel. The first pump supplies fuel to the canister. The second pump on the canister is the main supply to the engine. Is the second pump capable of supporting that much horsepower since it is really working alone? What is the flow rating of the pump? Just trying to help out. I mentioned this to the guy that owns the SRX-1 (545 whp) referenced on this board and his first comment was its the fuel pump. Especially if you are adding fuel and it is making no difference. I think he is running two pumps that work from the same fuel cell but are on separate lines.
Also, the head gasket could've been lifting because of the excessive cylinder pressure caused from the lean condition, although 26psi on a stock head gasket is pushing the limits.
