Don't cap that nipple on your throttle body, coolant is meant to pass through there and there is no point in capping it. Also, yes that is your knock sensor.DriftBoy07 wrote:...this goes to the right side of the TB right? being capped
Is this the knock sensor??
Yes, that is what it's for and it is meant to help idle in cold temperatures. Nissan put it there for a reason and I don't see why capping it off will be of any benefit?DriftBoy07 wrote:Thanks HB & Tek.Stripes-the coolant running to the TB to warm it up right? Warming the air cooled by IC, not necessary Props to Didderson for the idea.
the throttle body from feezing open. which would be rare specially wit ha turbo having warm air come through. so cap them off. i started my car in sub zero temps no problem with it disconnected/Stripes wrote:

no prob, i didnt pull it today since i ran out of daylight. if you want em both though i can have them off on mondayDriftBoy07 wrote:WC its NOT the line I thought it was! I just pulled both of them after realizing that the one that goes to the FPR wasnt the one I drilled through.
Its the line connected to a hose near the rear of the car with a simple squeeze clamp, I believe its the one that goes to the fuel filter, if you already pulled the return tube Ill still buy it from you but Ill need the other one as well. OR I can order it from Courtesy either way.
