Thats your opinion & I respect it lol The trans was originally orange but I wanted to test the gloss black over semi gloss & went with it lol

The VC pic doesnt do it justice, it looks darker and shinier in RL, I put like 4-5 coats of clean on it. Ill post pics when I take em of it on the car.

Im extremely disappointed in Nissan as well as FRSport.

"Hi Matt, unfortunately we found that Nissan do not offer any warranty. All of their parts are sold as is without warranty. I uploaded their warranty information on this link. Please take a look."

You would think that when a f***ing peice breaks off, they would follow up their products. Not happy.

Im going to look into it this weekend, Id rather just weld the drain pipe on the turbo itself, no leaks ftw.

Im in such a bad mood today, my car is supposed to help me get away & now Im screwed. Idk..

I can understand being pissed about it breaking, but honestly you stated you were torquing it down pretty hard. Stuff like this is part of the car modifications.

I would've been very surprised if they had replaced it for you, but I was hoping they'd do something for you.

Take it to a good machine shop, they should be able to weld it back on for you.

It's a good idea to invest in a torque wrench. $70 for a nice one from Craftsman.

These are all aluminum motor, so it's easy to over torque and cause issues. Example, oil pan bolts, only 5.5 ft/lbs of torque. It's super easy to over torque those bolts, and most people do.

dman dude that blows i would be freaking pissed as well.

get ahold of garrett and see waht they say maybe you can do a core refund or something.

stuff liek that doesnt require much torque as has been stated above

I wasnt even torqing [sp?] it down! Is there supposed to be a spec for seating the stud? And that part is cast iron! Thats what gets me but whatever I'm getting it welded so I guess thats good news

Thanks for the comments though guys. Im trying to stay motivated as its getting warmer and I want this car on the street!

My dad got it in my head that I should try to get a new turbo from FRSport so I called up compaining and complaining trying to get them to give me a new turbo. Well after they review the picture Im sure many times they tell me that your not supposed to use studs, bolts are required.

All of this after I cancel with my welder Getting it welded later this week anyway, kinda glad because I didnt want to deal with having to pull it off and ship it and blah blah.

Oh and I got some work done today, going to do some more now. Updates tonight or tomorrow

Eff that! So, my car is back in my garage and I just got some argon. Guess what I'm doing with it?

I just cant get anything right lately man lol Im so mad at this right now! I talked to courtesy and rosen and they cant tell from the schematic which is which because there are 5 little lines, but does each line rep a tube? OR does the space in between?! SO CONFUSING!!

The fuel return is $168, so Im hoping that I didnt drill through that one, there are two fuel tubes that I might of drilled through that run from the gas tank to the front of the car, does ANYONE know which one is which?

http://www.courtesyparts.com/2....html

Thats the schematic I have to deal with, its either 17510, 17508, or 17506.I think Ive narrowed it down to 17510 or 17508, someone please help me!

Im assuming the breather tube is fuel delivery? Its also called a "vapor vent" idk,

oh and STIs rule, 300hp AWD. That way I can get started on rally racing, or maybe even gymkhana? lol

post a pic of what line you drilled through, cuz until we see it, we can't help you figure out what one it is. i'm not saying sti's are bad. but buying a car < building a car. lemme know what line you drilled through, cuz i have a spare set of lines on my black s13

Oh the STI wouldnt stay stock for long lol and I agree with you 110%.

I want to post pics but unfortunately I dont have the little cord here at my dads so I will post pics as soon as Im home which should be around 6ish because thats when Im off of work.

Ill briefly explain it though, feel free to correct me if Im wrong, Im taking a break because laying under the car with s*** fallin in my nose and mouth sucks!

There are 2 fuel lines that go from the front of the car, along the framerail to the rear of the car. One is the fuel return, and the other is vapor vent line [aka breather], the fuel return is the expensive and hell one. I cant tell by looking at the two lines which is which but Im going to assume the VAPOR line has no pressure and thats the one connected from tube->hose via hose clamp and the other has pressure because its a return and is connected from tube->hose in the rear by a screw clamp.

well theres 3 lines that come up from the gas tank. one goes to the charcoal canister (since i don't have a charcoal canister, mine is just vented to the air) and the other 2 are the feed and return lines that go to the rail. like i said, lemme know which one it is since i have those lines and i could hook you up with what you need

Your the best WC lol but seriously you rule man, I think I need the return line, Ill post pics when I get home.

I dont have the egr canister either, and I have a random line going up the drivers side right up to near the fuse box, I was wondering what that was & I think its the egr crap.

yea dude. No I think I will do it myself, practice pays off afterall

Dude don't get so aggravated with your 240. Understand its an old car and it will come across crap like that. I've felt like grabbing a sledge hammer and just pound away in my car, but then I realize that once I'm done with it, it will be just perfect and I will be proud of it.

Don't get a Subaru, they are nice and all but like WC said building a car> buying a car

The subaru will be built I promise, scouts honor
