Happy Easter!

Updaate.

AEM UEGODildo NISMO knob, really light for $45...

Ill start with the big news! Weldedness!

Its not pretty but Function>Form FTW!!

T25 bolts Im using with the oil drainGasket that came with my gasket kit does NOT fit. Finally Back OnOil DeliveryWater ReturnWater DeliveryHeater hoses, not sure if this is correct quite yet.Rerouted IACV Coolant hosesI also decided to try and figure out the radiator/fans setup I had and it was pretty easy. Those little black tabs slide in on the sides of the fanUse the provided bolts and bolt them into the threads on the shroud [I actually removed the shroud to put them on, I just took pics at the wrong time lolWorkin it out..Got this bolt into the top mountThis one didnt agree so much, so Ill zip tie it later

Onto the car itself...

Pulled alot of the interiorAlot...Installed my other door handlePulled out sound deadening in the trunkI laughed when I pulled this one peice because everyone on NICO is always talking about how much of a pain it is and I got this huge one peice out Weak attempt at battery relocation, this turned into a 3 hour pain in the a**, but finally got it close, even though I broke my first battery box trying.I was also able to figure out how the battery connects to the fuse box thanks to my neighbor and found out a bulb that I just replaced is out..More than one Nissan thought itd be a good idea to bolt up the gas tank support to the frame and put a nut inside the frame so that you can get the little bastard out.I have to ez out it and figure out how to get another bolt in.

And to make things even better I found some rust! yay@!!@#!@$

Now for the questions section of our program today!

Other half of the gas tank support, how do I get this sucker out?$300 GReddy Intake didnt come with the bolts.. Anyone know the sizes?AND there was DIRT inside some of the pipes..

Thats all for now folks, busy a** day today for Easter then what else? Get drunk of course! lol But seriously I will be working on some more crap tomorrow to get my gears shifting

For sure, whats your email?

I like the shift knob but Ive read that a heavier knob will help throw the shift faster? It still looks sechs lol

Yes that is true about the heavier weight, I'm kind of nervous that lightweight Fidanza flywheel is no joke by what I hear lol

I'm running a fidanza with tomei knob and I can't say it's much different from my tiny buddy club knob. The RPM's do drop fast of course, but I really don't think having a heavier shift knob has helped me throw it into gear any quicker.

By the way, did you really get a wideband for Easter?

Yea of course I was just being sarcastic about the whole thing. Damn I was gonna get the Tomei Duracon knob but opted to get the dildo knob lol

Also, since you got the Fidanza flywheel, does your car start up faster? Did you notice great overall improvement?

DriftBoy07- sorry for threadjack

Duracon knob rocks, I love it. I don't know if it starts any faster or has improved any performance because I put it on before I dropped the motor in my car, but I can tell you that people that ride with me always notice that it revs much faster than they are used to seeing. As far as starting up faster, I think it starts just as fast as a regular flywheel would, although sometimes it will barely even turn over one time and it will start up..... I never really thought about it.

Also, are your threads lined up from that piece you had welded? They look kinda.... off..?

Are you using the radiator hose pieces you can get from car quest? It's also the one that Enjuku racing sells.

Looks like it. Anyways. Here is how to mount it up:

Yes Bumnah they are the ones I got from carquest I just wasnt sure how to line them up, thanks.

hey man I got my lines in today. Im only confused on the washers. I got three large ones and 2 small ones. I figured the small ones are for the oil line and Im guessing I used the others on the coolant lines?

Im trying to remember..2 or 3 go on the coolant return line which iirc its the one towards the front of the engine, then theres 1 or 2 that goin on the oil feed to the block.

I cant remember correctly right now and my laptop crashed so Ill have to do some digging in my thread & positrons to find it for ya.

Dont know about the lines. I think d!ck (probably mispelled) had some for sale. I think it read "The d!ck Store" in his sig.
