not really essential at all. they just keep the nuts from backing out, but you can use locktite. i even know of people that removed the tabs and were fine without locktite

You were 20min too late! lol no big deal, Ill try em and if theyre too difficult then I wont bother. Any advice on mounting the turbo to manifold, as well as elbow?

Oh and should I use liquid gasket on the intake manifold-head and the exhaust manifold-head? Or will the gaskets provided work fine?

NO do not put any liquid gasket on either of the manifolds, the gaskets will be sufficient. The exhaust manifold will burn any type of liquid gasket anyway.

For the elbow and exhaust manifold basically replace the gaskets and hardware (studs etc.) either way I'm sure you're getting all new hardware with the new pieces.

Those are the wheels I was going for but, they are TOO damn heavy and I've heard a world of complaints about sportmax/xxr. They do look good though.

I think I'm getting some gram Lights 57Pro. If you want those wheels though (962s) go to ebay and you will find the best deal on them I think

yeah i'm not sure on price and you would have to figure out what the offset woudl be since it tells you the width and the width of the lip. one of the member on here is a sportmax dealer though but i can't remember his username atmedit- found him, srpowered240sx

Thanks Tek

I got my hands on a torque wrench So tomorrow between work & class [20min] I'll torque down the baffle plate and oil pan. Friday morning Ill try to get some work done after the gym & before work but Im going to UIC to party it up so HOPEFULLY sat Ill work on her after the gym again.

Trying to get the entire intake side done by saturday night.

Should I use antiseize on ALL my bolts including oil pan/exhaust & intake mani etc?

I got 3 torque wrenches, only one works

Yes, anti seize is your best friend. You don't need to put it everywhere but it would save some time in the future.
