i wouldnt say a big order, just an expensive one lol the BIG orders will be placed Feb 1st I'd say just go to Home Depot or autozone and get the clamps there-no shipping and cheaper!

Nice progress man. Forgot but, what clutch did you get?

Are you going to need that install kit for the turbo upgrade? You know the clocking adapters or the inlets for the Gt28. Please let me know everyting you're using because I will end up upgrading as well.

What kind of pullies are you getting? I got Megan ones, eh they're nice.

I have the Exedy Stage II, good for up to 400hp and 350ft/lbs? iirc. I was going to order the install kit from FRsport but then I realized its $200 for mostly gaskets..that I already have so I'm just going to get a few things seperate:oil drain tube [metal part & ill get the rubber peice at HD]I'm not going to get the reclocked adapters because Ill just splurge and get the GReddy intake kit for the S15The turbo studs, copper locking nuts, & locking tab.stainless turbo lines WITH oil restrictor

I think thats it..I didnt think you needed the reclocking adapters for the 2871, its supposed to be a direct drop

Yeah I heard mixed reviews on the Spec so I decided not to risk it! Ask Idahotuner or Codyace if they needed adapters because I know they did some in depth builds, luck if you dont need anything though!

I haven't heard anything negative on the Spec yet but hope for the best. What about flywheel, resurface or aftermarket

Good luck doing it with the engine/transmission in the car! lol Exedy all the way, and they sent me TWO stickers

I painted my brackets black, even though some of them came out like ****-no biggie no one will see em.Pulled the oil pan thinking the oil was drained...mistake.Waiting on a torque wrench to put the plate in the oil pan back on and the oil pan. So its got a garbage bag over the bottom sideways. Pics tomorrow--its Saturday night!

damn dude I would really like to help you out but for some reason my computer won't download the file.

Anyway, go to phase2motortrend.com and go to the OEM SR20DET PARTS link. There it will say NISSAN FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL at the bottom, click it and download the s14 FSM which also applies to the s13. I got a feeling you're gonna love me for this......

So I did a write up..I'd like to get a custom title for it if possible..

Snow Removall & Cleaning Your 240 in Winter

Your car covered in snow.If your car isnt on the driveway like mine then watch your step & wear sneakers you dont care about.Take your toolWipe as so..Starting on top & working your way downBe careful of attatched objects such as the rear wiperNext you need to remove the snow under the wing, if you have oneTake your glovesAnd pull the snow out as so..Dont forget the backThis will help prevent moisture from building up under the wing and causing rust. Also check under the car for leaves/grass etc that has built up, I had nuts and animals building a small hill up into my engine bay.You COULD keep your windshield covered to prevent dask crackingOR use a target bag like I didCheck your tires as well, you do NOT want your car to be sitting on a flat/directly on the wheel all winter. This one was okThis one tooThis one is NOT ok! Filled her up to 34 psi right away.CLEAN!

You should do this as often during the winter months as possible if your car is outside & not on a solid surface. Also, I have a carbon fiber hood so I make sure to at least wipe that off because you dont want all the weight from the snow weighing it down.

I tried replacing my oil pan yesterday and well..it got messy. I dont know why but I thought my engine would have been drained of oil before they shipped it..Anyways it was NOT, and I made a stupid mistake that cost me so everyone learn from it lolGot some stuff painted too so I'll be re-assembling the intake side hopefully this week

Painted brackets, yes I left the alternator one on because that sucker did not wanna come off.Kinda came out like crap in some sections because I didnt clean them well enough I guess? I was going to sandblast em but no one will see it..

Pulled the oil panthe leaking started..no big shake

then it started getting worseat this point i decided i needed more than cardboard to keep my floor cleanand then i ran out to my garage to get the plastic pan i use to drain my oil..which for some stupid *** reason was FULLit got everywherescraping the old gasket off, ended up removing the baffle plate so i made sure none of that crap got stuck in there. Left it like this because I didnt have the torque specs OR torque wrench to tighten them down, so needless to say I was a little annoyed, plus my Dad who was hanging drywall making jokes about my stupidity Kind of an aggravating night.

Quick question. Which way does the throttle body gasket face? letters towards the TB? or the intake mani?

It was PAINTERS tape Ill have you know! lol And no no graphics, I wanted the paint scheme of the Gran Sport Corvettes w/ different colors and did that when I was bored one night to show my friends what it would look like.

Some GREAT news though, I am placing a large order tomorrow from FRsport as well as Enjuku, my turbo!!! woooooooooo!!!!!!

AND some kid thats friends w/ my friend has a Sentra SE-R and wants to pay like $500 for my T25 "kit" lol which is essentially the exhaust mani/turbo/lines/elbow. I was going to save it for my lil bro but for $500..sorry bro!

woohoo for 500th post!

No surprice, my engine was full of oil as well as coolant.

The letters on the gasket are supposed be be facing the intake manifold, either way I don't think it really matters.

The block looks extra clean

BTW: is that an AC Delco engine stand? I think I have the same one. Hooray for your order, Im jealous though

Thanks tek, and no it is duralast, built to last! lolAnd I heard mixed reviews from spec owners, and when I read up on Exedy I heard nothing but good reviews, thus the reason why I bought the Exedy. Not arguing that your spec isnt as good as you say Logan but I didnt wanna take the chance that there was a possibility of something going wrong. Feel me? lol

Yay Autozone exclusive brand lol that was my first job.

When I first got my engine it had an Exedy clutch, not sure what stage it was but it had a pretty purple pressure plate lol.

I want a purple pressure plate, I have silver boo. Trans maybe? lol

Well I'm ordering my turbo from FRSport and I hit a snag, for the FR Earls Motosports SS lines I'm not sure if I should choose the S13 or S15, because I have the S15 turbo..but S13 motor-->any ideas?

Clawhammer I think you might be able to help me.
