i searched a bit for shaft play and it seems that a little side to side movement isnt a big deal as long as it isnt hitting the wall. but in and out movement is UNACCEPTABLE! so ill check that as well when i get to my dads tomorrow.

but the good news is i ordered my gasket kit from phase2, my first major purchase for the build! [other than the car & engine ]updates to come..!

tried to get some work done this weekend, not much other than cleanin/ painting the intake mani, IACV, & half the blocki stopped because i had to pick up and hang drywall in my dads kitchen all day ttoday...pain in the arse

on top of that phase 2 charged me $474 for my gasket kit they charged me twice...each one for different amounts

im definately leaning towards the GT2560R [spec R S15 turbo] and getting an Exedy Stage II to hold it.

heres an easy fix. take the hardware you have to a hardware store and figure out what size it is then buy as many as you need

spooled-idk what the conversion factor would be but FRsports are like $1150 and i think phase2 or enjuku might be cheaperhttp://www.frsport.com/Garrett....html

and that site claims itll make 460hp..from what ive seen the .64 can make 400hp but not too much more..maybe im nuts?

awwh man for a second there I was extremely jealous of you! Yes I'm planning on the gt2871rs but I'm kinda confused on the power limits. frsport says it will produce 400+hp and enjuku says a different thing, both with the same specs maybe I'm missing something.

Well I promised my dad I will get the car out of the garage this summer so I guess, this summer lol.

GT2650.....? Perhaps you mean the GT2560. The price seems right at frsport $795.95

lol fixed, was a typo. and FRsport calls it the 28R for some reason but w/e lol and yeah $795 with the actuator will be nice!

as for the 2871rs there are a few builds on it:idahotuner-> zer...age=1codyace-> zerothread?id=213470im pretty sure you can get 400hp out of it but much more than that? idk..and if its gonna be a street car do you really WANT that much? just my opinion

car shows every fri night @ nostalgia mcdonalds in GURRRRNEE over the summer, you should bring your car by for sure-only like 45min from pilsen

You're right I dont need all that power but I cant resist either. 400whp is all I'm looking for. Plus my friend who has a Cobra talks a lot of crap about imports. I told him we will settle things at the track once our cars are finished (he's going turbo)

Thats SR is looking good, nice job on the intake manifold. Did I tell you I got my Greddy intake manifold for $300...? lol sorry for teasing you man I just had to share with you, what a steal.

WC, I see you noticed as well. I tried to call them twice to verify but they were busy I guess.

I'm familiar with the PBM products, they seem tobe good stuff. Good chance I'll end up with their coils but first I must sell the AGX strut Tein spring combo. Thats a nice list of goodies you got there. Now I want to put up mine but dont know where to begin.

Is there a thread where people post their mods?
