First of all, it's obvious you want to get personal... not my style, but why not:
Ok mr. history expert... NATO didn't even exist during WWII!! Nato was formed in Washington D.C. on April 4, 1949... after WWII was long over... V.E. day was May 8, 1945. The U.N. wasn't even formed until 6 months after that.. I'm sure since you're a history expert you must have just accidentally said NATO instead of Allied Forces.

That's great to know.. both my Grandfathers fought in WWII also. I just think yours might be rolling over in his grave if he heard you belittle and minimize the effort it took to beat Germany.
