Yeah that's true. My 91 had a bad grinding sound in reverse until i bought new brake pads.

i had the same problem, changed my pad,went away for a day and camee back louder and meaner! Then i was gonna adjust my e-brake cable, twisted the piston in the caliper back in but had no time to adjust cable and just put bak on the brake pad. And the noise was GONE and still haven't come bak and it's been a month or so already. =)

You know, I'm a proud american...but though our army is so much better than Canada's...A history professor once pointed out to me, America has never successfully raided Canada. We suffered defeats both times we tried. The first was in the early days of our country, and the French/British, whoever was there, pushed us back. The second time was an Irish militia in the northern US (I believe this was in the late 1800s?) attacked the Canadian border. Needless to say, the drunken irishmen were repelled by the "skillful" canadian mountees. I personally believe the drunk irishmen passed out or went home for more booze before they could even FIND a mountee in that huge country.

PS Fact : My SOHC 240SX was faster with a CAI than my much heavier SOHC stealth. Unfortunately, my friend's DOHC stealth is about as fast as my old 240, and another friend's TT stealth blew the 240 WAY out of the water.Fact 2 : I one day intend to get a 240 and actually perform the Sr20 engine swap this time. Though it's a debate as to whether I want to build a Silvia or a TT stealth/3000gt :-\

fact: 3000gt vr4's and Stealth R/T TT have VERY VERY BAD transmission, transfer case, and rearend problems plus almost all aftermarket warrenty companys will not warrenty the car

I know sank $8500 in transmission alone then sold it and the new owner replaced the transmission twice not including the rearend locking and other problems he had

thats one of the few things i'll remember from history class haha.

War of 1812 i believe was one of the times they tried invading...only cause you guys pissed off the british so they were with us, or somethin.

im glad for him... but im sure an american sniper has the most confirmed kills... some of the worlds greatest recon teams are from the us... seals, marine recon, delta force, scout sniper, 101st airborne...

but back to the subject.... it is cheaper to get a sr20 than a turbo for a KA...

As far as armies go....

The US will always have the "best" army simply because we are filthy rich, technologically advanced, and have the biggest...

This however doesn't mean that other armies aren't "better". Also how much press and TV coverage do foreign armies get in the US (aside from the ones we are fighting), so how would we know what other countries are contributing. Canada did a lot in Afghanistan, as did Australia, but all we hear about is us and England...

I'm no army afficianado, but these are my views as some joe schmoe that knows as much as the next ignorant, uninformed American (which most of us are).

you have a very good point. i have lived in japan and seen there armed forces... not to good. my mom is french and we talk about their armed forces and it aint to good either. i am a very big militray buff and not to sound CONCIETED but i think that the US has the best military to my knowledge.

and yes the US will never talk about how a canadian sniper got the longs confirmed kill but will talk about a grunt who had to go through some trenches to run backwards... the us news is just a propaganda tool in war time.

First of all, I'm sure you don't mean to compare us to 1940's Germany right. We are NOT a country that is militarily based.. and in no way do we compare to Germany... I'd like to know where you're going with that? Anyway, they didn't get raped either.. they conquered half of Europe, parts of Asia and Africa..... and ONLY failed because of an over-zealous leader. They spread themselves too thin, and had a pretty bad public image... what with the whole genocide thing! I'd say they were pretty militarily successful, it's just that after a while people got sick of them killing millions of innocent people, and then it took a LOT to get rid of them.. but it was actually Japan the got us involved.. we do like to sit high on our morals.. but it was an attack on the home front that compelled us to action. Anyway, although we do have a strong military... we have been driven by manufactoring and technology for close to a hundred years. So please don't insult us with comments like that.. it's just not nice.. nor does it have any credibility... thanks.

OK... pick yourself up a map.. look at the size of Germany.. and maybe even look at some population statistics. They had a VERY large and powerful military for a small nation. Talk to any WWII veteran... ask them about how the Germans got raped.. It cost thousands of allied lives to fight them off. For such a small country, they accomplished more than any mamouth land form like Canada could EVER hope to achieve. I disagree with every bit of what the Nazis stood for.. but you cannot say they got raped.. if anything, every country that stood in their way got raped... I wonder how France felt during WWII?
