ok, so im still lying about pics. i have however been working very little in the last few days. but, tomorrow, i will do my best to finish the main body minus the hands. i need to strengthen the frame and work on the locking pieces. then i start on the legs. i think i will do the waist last, because i can make the legs fast. i'll try to get pics of the body tomorrow.

have you seen the new alternators line they came out with, licensed vehicles and stuff, right now they have a WRX STi, and a viper, with a C5 vette, a jeep wrangler, and an RX-8 confirmed for release (i'm praying for a 350z or an R34 skyline) right now i just have the WRX in rally trim (paint, decals, etc...) it even has the drivers names on the rear side windows. pretty cook, they are also 1/24th scale and when they are transformed into car mode they just look like a regular car model

i remember the OLD ones, the orig. models that came out that were kinda metal-ish and plastic. the cars looked pretty good in those too. too bad they bring in a premium one....

yeah, they used to have an older Z like a 280 or something that was pretty cool, toys-r-us actually still sells some of the older ones in a commemorative seriese (god my spelling sucks).

I got my Reissue Thunder Cracker at the toys R us. Very nice indeed. The 280zx is Blue streak and whatever the other guy was. Damn crappy memory. Also jetfire was just a repainted VF-1. or maybe it was the other way around. Roy Foker for life whut.

haha, nah, Jetfire was a unique-ish character in the show, but the toy was a "borrowed" VF-1S from the old Orig. Macross toys.

dude!!! i had a jetfire too... only one i ever got being the poor a$$ family i belong too (deceptacons ownz the good guys). But autobots were the sh*t then too. But doesn't transformers' company own them now?

Jetifre was an autobot

....as for the owning company, its hasbro. they've always owned them in the states. Takara was the orig. company in japan, and hasbro did the marketing here.

I think bandai sold in mexico. I have not seen an original one in like 15 years...

nah, bandai didnt sell transformers. they are, however, responsible for the gundam models, some robotech and macross models, some robotech toys, and of course, the power rangers. takara was in charge of stuff in japan transformers wise and hasbro sold them here in the states.

well, I was talking about mexico, and about the 1st series of transformers (the metal+plastic), and hasbro was not distribuiting at the time. Maybe Matel? I suspected bandai because they carried the dragon quest, and saint seiya series in previous years.

BTW, i havent been working on the project cause im running out of hotglue sticks. i have, however, started work on the legs. the body didnt work out cause i made it too narrow. sooo, i juswt gotta move some stuff over and that will be good.

try box tape, that is what i used on my costume, and then some velcro parts so that i could unhinge the back to get into the costume. worked pretty well.

hehe, you see, im studying to be an engineer. velcro and box tape are what normal people use. i have to over complicate things with tabs and locks and anchor plates and such
