Yes, thinking of a cruise from Philly to the Reading Pagoda, but that's another thread to come.

Meanwhile this Northeast Meet is a S-Chasis gathering and BBQ - NOT A DRFIT MEET!!! NO ALCOHOL, NO BURNOUTS, NO SHOWBOATING, this is a State Park and there are Rangers that are on patrol in the park.

no one is making the old Zilvia/NICO battle here, so dont start. They are both forums that cater to a specific personality. So stay were your comfortable.I prefer Ziptied, lolI just ended up with alot of friends off of Zilvia.I have an account here too, but I dont navigate this site as well cause Im f***ing old.

this is you talking yourself into a hole.....

If I remember, it was a youtube video you posted, and it was rubbish.the drifting was s***.you need work. And I'm sorry, but I call em like I see em on youtube and rate em poorly if I have too.that way, when I want to see a real srift video, I dont get all kinds of crap showing up.

The light chuck has is a yellow flashing light you might find on a forklift. That is the light I am talking about. Its real specific. You would be really hard pressed to find anyone with the same light on there street drift car anywere. (really, please show me).but some beginer "street drifter" in the exact same area just happens to come up with the exact same thing???kinda doubting it.

Did you notice the issue had been resolved, then you came in talking s***?your the NICO user I am talking about.Your the forum user in general I cant stand.

BTW, 626 holds events every month for the last 2 years. Our drivers have gone Pro for Formula D.you probably saw a bunch of our stickers on some of the cars running at the REDBULL Long Beach event. We are the only amatuer drift event in the area offering $1000 purses for out compitions.so you should humble up, come out, learn to drift.I will instruct you myself.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but I apologized to NICO as a whole for coming in here with guns blazing.

And for people who do cinematography and photography for a living, its my life's work that is being taken. Not working in a creative field as your own boss and artist, you may not understand.

As stated above. Its a specific flashing light that I havent seen anyone do.Not that its not possable to think up, but come on.they were biting it blatetly.

anyways,send the grammer police.

BTW ChampaignSilviaS14My name is Eric C Castro.Im the person your talking to.Any issues, PM me, email, or call.my info is on my site.google me.

BTW, glad you guys are not using FDR.place has looked sketchy from day one.Plus, who needs Bam showing up and ruining your 240.

Modified by castro at 11:23 AM 2/21/2009
The video was on myspacetv and vimeo, Im not sure which you commented on.

http://vimeo.com/kcda

Here is our Vimeo, BTW I was not drifting in that video, therefore I do not need work. I was simply defending a fellow drifter that you said stole your style.

No need to start up the argument again, I needed to rant. It's not my fault the way I see 626 this way is because of how many of you represent themselves. There are many good people too, unfortunately most are not a part of Nico.

I KNOW what 626 has done with drifting, I keep up on the news, you don't have to tell me how many events you hold or what you do.

Real drifters don't talk s*** on other peoples driving, we help each other get better. And how can someone rip on someone when the person is driving properly at events???

Okay, I really think a few of us really need to set some ground rules for this meet, because it is a MEET. Not a drift event, not a sponsored show or anything of the sort. It seems like no one is understanding the original intention of this whole thing, so please check it out where it started if you have not done so already- zer...age=1

I had thought that omgjacki had defined a location for the meet, that place being FDR state park, but it seems that many people are not satisfied with this location. Jacqueline, do you think a poll is necessary to decide on the final location? The date is not very far away and we need to get this set in stone soon if we want it to be legit. Everyone needs to keep in mind that there is no intention of any kind of auto racing to be had, so the area should not be determined on "drifting area" or worry about police showing up due to complaints of any kind of speed exhibition or wreckless driving.

To the people who think that FDR is an "iffy" or just not a good spot to hold a meet, you should seriously reconsider. My reasons for this are, it is a PUBLIC park, and is a VACANT PARKING LOT this time of year, so there is no reason whatsoever that we would be hassled for doing so. To support my reasoning, I know a few volkswagen guys who held a HUGE meet up there a couple times and they never had any issues. Their turnouts covered a good part of one of the lots underneath one of the bridges. My only reason FDR may not be a good place is because this is more of the "southern" portion of the northeast, and many people are not willing to drive 9 hours from Connecticut. If a reasonable location is suggested, I think that a poll should be started and the people attending the meet should have the final vote of where the meet will be held.

I hear they've cracked down a TON on skating love park, like instant tickets, and there's always cops/authorities around.

Ahh I see. Hmm...is it the same love park from the mid 90's...rumor in socal was they knocked it down. That's the love park I've always wanted to skate.

Anybody down though, for a skating session? I mean, within the event so we don't burn the spot. That'd be fun. Also like the kick ball.

I have a suggestion for an activity: A while back I used to hang out at this house where all these punks lived, and every sunday they held dodgeball day. Safe, and very very fun. Hahaha. So how's s13 vs. S14 dodgeball game?

It'd be neat if someone brought like 10' practice rail/flat bar. One that breaks down into 2 pieces. I'd be down to get my fruitboot on.

Drifting is supposed to be about a bunch of fun.But anyone that has been doing it long enough knows its full of s*** talking, ego and all kinds of s***.your sadly confused if you think its not.And you know this, so don't try and act like my statement isnt true.I didn't say I agree with this, but sadly, its the way it is.

ah no, Im from the west coast, lol.2Pac/ biggie, start that up....lol

It is MY picture. MY work. MY time invested. So yes, I have every right to be angry when it is taken and used.
jdmwill wrote: thanks for trying to make my buddies kevin and jacki look like a thieves, when clearly they're not ***hole.
My watermark was clearly in the corner of the picture. My contact info was clearly stated on the web address it links to.They covered the watermark. After pulling the photo off of one of my hosting sites where you can click a link to email me.Contacting me was never attempted, even though it would have taken 10 seconds.other websites and Drift events contact me to use my photos and its fine. But try and take things behind my back and I am pissed.

i would think anyone would feel the same way?would you not?

Anyways, like I stated, this issue is dead and they emailed me, and resolved it. So why don't you drop it and stop attacking me, since it has nothing to do with you?
jdmwill wrote:you say you go on nico so it could benefit your build. so again you take, take, and take. then somebody in nico uses one of your pictures and you get bent out shape like a over medicated methadon addict. get real and get out
your a f***ing idiot.I prefer Zilvia, but use all the sites.Lets see about me just taking.Over the last 2 years,Every month I,I staff at least one drift event.( instruct for hours.) Attend 3 weekly meets minimum, spend a few hours answering questions another 240 forum,Talk to people through PM, email and at meets, to keep it on the track.Probably go drifting off track somewhere once a month, shoot photos at 1 to 2 drift events. around 500-1000 photos, my own gas, my own food and entry fee most of the time, about a 8 to 10 hour day, go through the photos at home and editing usually takes16 plus hours and a couple days. Shoot Formula D and D1GP when they are here. not to mention my own drifting. and hours spent working on someone elses car.

and this is on top of a 72 hour work week sometimes and till last year I was with a girl, raising her 11 year old daughter with her.

So go f*** yourself if you don't think I do more than my part to give back to the drift community.I do more than my share.

If any of you have a problem, just f***ing call me.Thats usually how these things get handled.Slappy, you have my number.

Castro, you don't know me personally, but I see you post all the time, and were affiliated with the same people.

You are one of the main people on zilvia telling people to take it to PM. Practice what you preach.

About photos, I myself was into digital imaging and went to school for it. Unless he was using the photo for money, its not a big deal.

When I was younger I was taught to admire people who copy your style, take things from your way of life and whatnot.

Clearly he just admired your photo. Mabe he got the photo like that. You're 3000 miles away from eachother...

Just pm or have him call you or something.

I'm not dissing you eric, and I'm not dissing anybody in this thread.

I'm sick of wasting hours of reading b****ing, and moaning. Were mostly adults, and we should act our age.

Eric, he admires your photo. Thank him, and take your gripes to email dude. None of this want to hear about this.

As for drifting and whose better. Who the flip cares? I've been in the skate scene for a long time, you think drift scene is different? Nope.

I don't give a s*** how old you are, or how long you been drifting. Its bout attitude, compassion, heart, and love of the sport. Keep it that way. Too many people think they're too cool cuz they're older. Well, I'm 22 and been skating since I was 8...I don't view newbs any differently than I view my self. I still learn from newbs, and so I say give up your ego.

No one is better than anybody. Were all car/sports driving enthusiastes. Leave that ego home, and if you can't gtfo. Let us all kick it in peace. Nuff said.

Its a waste of time man, he's never gonna change his mind or his outlook on things. He wont realize either that ive been around / involved in drifting since 02 and ive never came across these bad attitude people he speaks of. Like i said, its prolly a west coast thing. I know people that are going to use their Formula D license this year personally and these cats are cool as hell, very friendly and helpful.

I respect all that you do, but damn man, my friend Danny works just as long, takes the same amount of photos but WITHOUT the s***ty attitude. Matt Petty, Tim, Shawn, all those cats that run ClubLoose for us east coast drifters are some of the most laid back non aggressive people i ever met. Come down here sometime and chill with some non angry people.

You know slappy, it just might be a west coast majority of egotistical a-holes....but that's for every scene. All bout flash, who knows more. Personally, you taught me a lot, and same with the people on the westcoast, who he is affiliated with. I am affiliated with socal-drift, and that site is nothing but love dude. But thenagain you got the dudes that get their panties in a twist.

I'm disappointed in All this flaming on this thread about a picture, that someone obviously admired.

Castro, say thank you for the guy admiring your picture, and then let this whole thing roll over your shoulder.

If you did a lot for the community, you'd let this slide, since it was of admiration of your photoshop skills ect. Kick it, stop pmsing, especially cuz you try to regulate dudes on zilvia that act is exactly how you're acting now.

I am shmex on here, zilvia, sportscarfrenzy(tn site), socal-drift.com, and here....I'm tired of seeing people think they're better than me or anybody else. Cuz you're not homeslice....you're equal. I can learn from you yes.....however, you can learn from me(the n00b) as well.

I mean, I emailed slapy two years ago asking him things, and he was kind and respective, as well as a bunch of members on here. Maybe its you, who has to examine their behaviour/speech/and the way you bring yourself.

Lets get this thread back on toipic. Cuz I have been wanting to meet a lot of you from the eastcoast and now I might finally get the chance, especially slappy, and some other folks.

Dodgeball anyone??? I call you slappy!!! Lets get it OOON!!!! Hehe.

I really am amazed that you guys would stick up for someone taking someone elses work, and using it as they please.

Then come down on me because I am furious at it continuing to happen.i am furious they would go as far as hiding my watermark.they would not contact me to ask.And you tell me to take it as a compliment?

That's pretty f***ed up, and you can't deny that.

As to the rest of the stuff, I really don't care.the real world of drifting is as f***ed up as any industry. And its not a matter of who you associate with, cause you have to get along with everyone wether you want to or not.Just like any self employed industry.

And Shmex, you can ask anyone on any of those forums, Im the most chill person.I only get mad when someone tries to take from me. And then I get attacked for sticking up for my property and work.

Hope your meet goes well, I know you guys dont have the luxuries we have here in the west.Like i said, you can PM or just call me.

I guess we both have our different experiences with these people. All i know is i made a ton of friends since i started Clubloose events, especially at the All Star Bash East Coast. We hung out all day and fired up the grill and had a blast, and anybody that knows me will tell you if i don't like someone, i make it a point for them not to be around me, that's bad energy.
