So is this the kind of people you are??the kind of event you run?Just steal other peoples work and use it for your own?
i really like how my website is clearly watermarked in the bottom corner and you just didnt feel like getting ahold of me??You f***ing piece of s***!Even after others in this thread stated that the photo was my work and stolen, you keep it up.WTF is wrong with you?you f***!!
Please remove my picture from all advertisments for your event immediatly.you are in blatent violation of all most all copyright and commons laws.
Wow man, you totally freaked out. Google owns your image once you upload it and it is then free for anyone to use. Maybe keep your photos more secure? Sorry you got so upset over it.castro wrote:So is this the kind of people you are??the kind of event you run?Just steal other peoples work and use it for your own?.......You f***ing piece of s***... bla bla blah blah
Panic, no.Really pissed, yesAZhitman wrote:Gee, panic much?
My good friend Mike Maez, is a pro photographer, and never freaks out like that.
Key word being "pro".
I sent a message through the system.doesnt mean I dont want to lay into the people responsable. And with the size of the site, I am not sure how long it would take you to get to my little problem.I got a reply this morning from "Repo".thankyou.i also was contacted by the person who used the photo.thankyou.AZhitman wrote:Eric, you're right that we're responsible for maintaining the order here - But if we don't know, we can't address it.If you haven't noticed, this is a bigass site. 200,000+ pageviews per day. One pic isn't gonna pop up on a staff member's radar.
thanks dad.And talking down to someone with a lollipop comment thats meant to belittle someone isnt the same thing??AZhitman wrote:Freaking out like someone stole your lollipop is probably not the way to go about these things in the future.
I work in the movie industry as a Cinematographer and Gaffer.Nissan may cut my checks if i am on a commercial for them. But I really doubt NICO will.AZhitman wrote:With as well-connected in the industry as we are, keep this in mind: In your line of work, be careful who you badmouth - They just might be the people writing your paycheck someday.
Of course I did.My hard work was stolen and used.I never uploaded my picture to google by the way.Google doesnt own photobucket, Fox Media does if I remember.and anyways, It doesnt mean that someone can take a google image and use it either.Stripes wrote:

Mike's done the Modified Mag covers for the past couple years, over 40 other national magazine covers and hundreds of pages of editorial produced over the past six years.... and God knows what other accomplishments.castro wrote:Panic, no.Really pissed, yes
Yeah, great Wedding photos.
Come into my place of business and poop on the floor, you just might get scolded. I don't do it to you, you're sure as hell not gonna do it here.castro wrote:thanks dad.And talking down to someone with a lollipop comment thats meant to belittle someone isnt the same thing??
Don't hold your breath. Not trying to be rude, but our contacts in the field are extensive.castro wrote:Most likely, I will be the person you may be asking and working with for Media purposes in the future, revolving around S-chasis and Drift events.
Hmmmm.castro wrote:ugghhhh, .............f***ing NICO,...........no wonder
Much appreciated. Without the members, we don't exist. They are us and we are them.castro wrote:As I stated above, I think NICO is an amazingly useful site. Its just actions of the members that tarnish its name.
Yes, they can. Public domain.castro wrote:It doesnt mean that someone can take a google image and use it either.
Some simple web tools can prevent copying / saving your images. Mike can show you how, he's a nice guy.castro wrote:Unfortunatly, I may have to start putting my watermark across the entire photo as a way to avoid constantly having to track these photos down and halt the unotherized use.
Agreed, but unless your pictures are being used for commercial purposes, there's really no reason to get upset... No one's profiting off your work in this instance.castro wrote:Watermarks suck, and ruin the photo for anyone. Thats why I have been avoiding it, but it may be unavoidable
Deep breath, brotha. Let the big things be big, and let the small things be small. See you in SoCal.castro wrote:It was really the last thing I needed after a bad day on an empty stomach. so I decided to let it rip. to the people I pointed out, thankyou for the apologetic email. hope to see you at the giant 240 meet here in SoCal in 2010.
I live in willow grove which is like 3 minutes from fort washington. The upper dublin police are major d!ck. If this meet was going to go down there, the cops would jump at the first thing anybody does wong. Not to mention the police station being 10-15 minutes awayKaleo55 wrote:Kev, let slow this down a bit, I really feel that the FDR location needs to be reconsidered. It is way too congested and not a car friendly park. I have looked in the Fort Washington State Park which is near the PA Turnpike, and they're okay with a gathering, we can rent the Pavillion to secure the area for the day for like $65.00. There are picnic tables and parbecue pits. If you all want to arrange a "Go See" I'm happy to show, I will post a map later...
And by the way, I already have a banner ready to go as soon as we lock in the location, using "MY" images. Greg, if you want to approve before I post please let me know who to send it to.
Many thank, Kal
damn that would suck, ya try having a meet and someone not do a smokey burnoutrob912 wrote:

That is about 1000x better than the wedding site that pops up first when you google his name, lolAZhitman wrote:

i disagree. And there are still giant debates and court s*** over that. But i dont have the money to fight that fight.eventually it will figure itself out.the internetz has so much grey area.AZhitman wrote:
BTW, once you posted those photos online without proper copyrighting, they're no longer yours.
i came in after your "clientel" with a personal problem, and i needed to address them the only place i could.AZhitman wrote:

I use alot of the achive stuff that shows up on google.NICO isn't my cup of tea, and i only got time for so many forums. But the "real" info on here is excellent.Thankyou!AZhitman wrote:
Much appreciated.
Its just gonna suck if I have to use a flickr account or my own website for this stuff.I am not pursueing photography at this time, and it wont be motorsports when i do.AZhitman wrote:
