I really can't believe how badly this thread has been Jacked! I have half the mind to ask Greg to shut it down.

To Castro, I have been in the Advertising, Design and Visual Communications business, probably longer than you've been alive. And the reality is, you should be flattered that someone used your image to promote a "NON-PROFIT, NON-COMMERCIAL" event. In fact you got some good free PR mileage out of it. I have been working hard with Jacki, Kevin and a few others to get this meet organized, and none of us had anything to do with using "your" image. I personally wouldn't have used it because I don't think it really represents or reflects what we are trying to do any way. You are not the only one that has shots of car meets at night. The guy who used your image maybe thought it looked good cause it had cars and people, that's it. Please don't hold this thread hostage to your hostility. No one wants or wanted to rob you of anything so leave it alone, PLEASE!

This is a Northeast S-Chasis Meet, and it has nothing to do with drifting or people who cool or not cool or whatever, it's about people that want to meet other people that drive 240's or other great cars and have FUN doing it.

By the way all... we are most likely going to move this meet back a couple of weeks because of conflicts with a couple of other events.

you might consider it flatering, but i dont.I really do not appriciate people using my work for things that I have no idea what they are,what kind of people will be involved, how well an event is organized, etc.

Its my image, its been resolved pages ago, so why don't you simply stop commenting??I have asked to be PM'd or called numerous times now.

Back to topic. We are awaiting the decision from Jacki who is responsible for this thing. We checked out a number of places today that are legit. So the decision will be made by Jacki soon. Sorry I jumped the gun I thought the place was set but by tommorow I hope we should know.

Since you insist that I "stole" your image from "your website" or a hosting website or what the hell ever and refuse to believe that I did in fact, take it off of Google, which by the way is legal even if you had proper copyrights then you should definitely just stop running your mouth and follow this link. http://images.google.com/image...magesI don't think I really need to say anything else besides keep your work off Google or keep your words to yourself.

I have actually PM'd, or email (think your right about the PM thing on here.), everyone already.We have discussed it off the board.

Thankyou for the link.Its actually a hotlink to FLICKR which has all kinds of copy right and commons rules and laws.I may need to use an even stricker common on flickr though since it can still be saved onto a hard drive.

Click on the image and have it pop up by itself, click properties, and the address is to flickr.

So more internet grey area. google skirting the system a bit to keep more searches popping up good stuff.

my website is on the google version of the pic, and thats what really heated me.As well as coming off of chasing down another photo that the people were deliberatly stealing, using to advertise there event, and a bunch of crazyness.
