Kaleo55 wrote:Kev, let slow this down a bit, I really feel that the FDR location needs to be reconsidered. It is way too congested and not a car friendly park. I have looked in the Fort Washington State Park which is near the PA Turnpike, and they're okay with a gathering, we can rent the Pavillion to secure the area for the day for like $65.00. There are picnic tables and parbecue pits. If you all want to arrange a "Go See" I'm happy to show, I will post a map later...

And by the way, I already have a banner ready to go as soon as we lock in the location, using "MY" images. Greg, if you want to approve before I post please let me know who to send it to.

Many thank, Kal
I was pretty sure Jacki had it locked up with the date and location. Well we need one ASAP that's set in stone for a meet of this size. Well just let me know if we need to pull a permit I don't care about a few bucks. I just want a nice meet that pleases everyone if it cost a few bucks no biggie. But time is of the essence so let try to lock a location ASAP. AZhitman I'm gonna email you about merch and swag if possible.

I apologize for the location not being set in stone yet. I have talked to other member in the area and agreed that FDR may night be the best choice for this meet. If you've been to FDR, you know what I'm talking about.

We're looking at Fort Washington State Park. Kev, if you want to tag along with Kal and I we'll be cruising up there tomorrow to scope it out. As far as I know, Kal has already spoken to someone about permission to use the park and as he stated, it is $65 to rent the pavilion for picnicking. Message me on AIM and I'll give you my number if you'd like to join us tomorrow. I'm on now: omgjacki

I am letting everyone know now, there will be ZERO tolerance for inappropriate behavior, burnouts, revving engines and all that shi--tuff. I will personally come up to you and ask you to leave. I may only be 5' 3" but I have no problem holding ground for us to be able to enjoy a few harassment-free hours together from the police.

Meh, this is why I have hardly any respect for half of 626. First of all... come in and diss Nico and the administrators that do the best job they can, when Zilvia is 100x worse. Almost every time I see a screen name with Violentrunning or 626 they always have s*** to say.Grow the hell up and be nice, you all seem to have a huge issue about people stealing your "styles"

Nobody cares... kind of like when you posted on our first event video saying holy s*** that guy with the flashing light on his car directly stealing Chuck of the 626DRIFT crew of SoCal's style when we didn't even know who the hell 626 was. I am pretty sure anyone can have a flashing light on their car, but I could be wrong right?

Just chill out.....

LOL I guess they invented the "flashing light mod."

This isn't 5th grade anymore, guys. Things like flashing lighs are mass produced. There are over six billion people in this world. I'm sure more than just one of them are going to think to put that licgt on their 240. People will do what they want with them, reguardless of who did what first.

Please, grow up. You don't look cool when you cry about people "stealing" what you think is your style.

/rant.

Back to the meet.

Wow.Thats alot to say.Maybe you have no plans on being involved in Southern Californias Drift Scene, so you just dont care. The 626 does so much for SoCals drift community.but thats another thread.....And I dissed NICO's users, not NICO or the Admins.go back and read.It was clarified by me several times as well as me apologizing to AZhitman for the misunderstanding.
ChampaignSilviaS14 wrote: when Zilvia is 100x worse.
no one is making the old Zilvia/NICO battle here, so dont start. They are both forums that cater to a specific personality. So stay were your comfortable.I prefer Ziptied, lolI just ended up with alot of friends off of Zilvia.I have an account here too, but I dont navigate this site as well cause Im f***ing old.
ChampaignSilviaS14 wrote: Almost every time I see a screen name with Violentrunning or 626 they always have s*** to say.Grow the hell up and be nice, you all seem to have a huge issue about people stealing your "styles"
this is you talking yourself into a hole.....

If I remember, it was a youtube video you posted, and it was rubbish.the drifting was s***.you need work. And I'm sorry, but I call em like I see em on youtube and rate em poorly if I have too.that way, when I want to see a real srift video, I dont get all kinds of crap showing up.
ChampaignSilviaS14 wrote: I am pretty sure anyone can have a flashing light on their car, but I could be wrong right?
The light chuck has is a yellow flashing light you might find on a forklift. That is the light I am talking about. Its real specific. You would be really hard pressed to find anyone with the same light on there street drift car anywere. (really, please show me).but some beginer "street drifter" in the exact same area just happens to come up with the exact same thing???kinda doubting it.
ChampaignSilviaS14 wrote:Just chill out.....
Did you notice the issue had been resolved, then you came in talking s***?your the NICO user I am talking about.Your the forum user in general I cant stand.

BTW, 626 holds events every month for the last 2 years. Our drivers have gone Pro for Formula D.you probably saw a bunch of our stickers on some of the cars running at the REDBULL Long Beach event. We are the only amatuer drift event in the area offering $1000 purses for out compitions.so you should humble up, come out, learn to drift.I will instruct you myself.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but I apologized to NICO as a whole for coming in here with guns blazing.

And for people who do cinematography and photography for a living, its my life's work that is being taken. Not working in a creative field as your own boss and artist, you may not understand.

As stated above. Its a specific flashing light that I havent seen anyone do.Not that its not possable to think up, but come on.they were biting it blatetly.

anyways,send the grammer police.

BTW ChampaignSilviaS14My name is Eric C Castro.Im the person your talking to.Any issues, PM me, email, or call.my info is on my site.google me.

BTW, glad you guys are not using FDR.place has looked sketchy from day one.Plus, who needs Bam showing up and ruining your 240.

Just an FYI I jumped the gun on this venue. Tomorrow we are checking one out and if its large enough to hold as many cars as we think are coming we are going to secure it and rent a pavilion.

Merch / Vendors please contact myself Kaleo55 or OMGjacki for information and details. We welcome you and hope to meet our vendors in person.

Nico merch has been requested, I will update you.

Private business owners / property owners (like someone who owns a parking lot) who will allow it to be used for drift / others please contact us. Must be private property owned by you.

That can quickly get out of hand IMO. How big are these lots? Are 3rd-4th gear drifts possible? Are there going to be Medics on hand incase? What are the experience level of the people that are going be allowed to drift? Whos going to "police" how many people can be drifting at one time? ect. These things need to be thougt out ASAP for everyone's safety and well being.

That's not the greatest idea. If anything were to happen, we'd be at fault and I don't bneed to be getting in trouble because some kid who just bought his 240 wants to "drift." There are only a handful of people I would trust to let drift and no one will ever give us permission.

Perhaps its not the best idea but if someone has the facilities and gives permission at the drivers risk why police it? There is too much of what if, you cant do this or that. Its something I doubt that will happen but if someone out there could make it happen it would be cool to see happen. But like I said, I doubt the possibility, but I cant say I didn't make the effort.

I think you two misunderstood me. I was just saying that if your going to have this "parking lot" drifting, you need to put safety into consideration. Drifting belongs at events, where everything is handled the correct way.

I just don't agree that it should be affiliated with our meet. God forbid anyone gets hurt. I don't know about anyone else, but I know I don't have insurance, and EMS costs.

The OTHER thread is the one we're doing roll call in.

This thread was to make more people aware. As the Philly scene has a lot of friends and car, but we are looking to make it huge.

Please comeover to the actual thread to check out plans and to sign the list if your contributing to this or attending.
