and whoever said somethin about how we think our cars are better than everyones...if u had any clue of what goes into our heads when someone says things like this, its just plain funny. LIKE the other day this guy tells me (he is in the navy) he "had" a $64,000 civic. i asked him what motor he based out with and he said "oh you know, i had the stock motor: the 2.0 L vtec. when i asked him if it was back home or somethin, he said he totaled it. GO figure. a 64,000 civic must have had a spoon engine in the front and a spoon engine in the back. oh, and by the way, he said it was a 9 sec car with no turbo. Just a 200 shot of nitrous. And if the civic won then the 240 must've lost. I just don't get why everyone's so pissed that a civic beat him, those cars have great potential if you actually put some work into the engine. yeah they might not have the torque or Rwd of a 240 with, but put an H22a in a civic and you've got one helluva nice car, your already making the same amount of hp as an SR20DET, and that's with an NA enigine. If you want to talk about a reliable engine. Take a look at the 4AGE/ZE engines and 3SGTE engines. Plus.... those engines are built to take punishment. Hey single Cam.... all you have to tell them is how much have you spent on your swaps. Say if you spent that much on a swap for you ... then you would clown all their HONDA'S.

It's one thing to be proud of your car's capabilities and modifications, etc. But when it spills over into making fun out of other car's capabilities ("only good for going sideways", civics are grocery-getters, jap cars are ****, and so forth), that just shows how retarded those guys are, makes me ashamed to own a civic. I don't know what they're smoking, but a well-built SR (or KA-T)-powered 240 would kill civics in the quarter mile. BTW singlecam, I'm located in houston too, and I'd love to help you out buddy, but your gonna have to give me like 2 years......
