Yeah I daily my car. Gets kind of annoying but oh well. each corner I can just slip my foot under it and thats about it. The front of the side skirts sit stupid low due to 17sYoungGun wrote:I hope kyle posts in this thread.
I'm pretty sure he daily drives his 240 with bn aero and its LOW LOW.
hahahahah oh god!!! i can't even imagine the driveway!Matej wrote:http://vimeo.com/3097169
Well, most "drift style" kits are for show queens, while real world drift sluts use either modest or stock body work. What exactly do you want? Anyways, more than body kit, it has to do with how much you lower your car. I have a Uras N+ bumper on my hatch (which is fiberglass) and its no problem at all because my car isnt super low.lonely_coupe wrote:well, this thread failed pretty badly for it's first day.
i was thinking more along the lines of aftermarket aero kits like BN, origin, vertex, etc. with 17-18 inch wheels.
i know that running a moderate or OEM kit is very easy to do daily.
I'm talking about people who ride LOW with a "drift style" (lol) kit.
Lol what?Onizuka wrote:

BN Type II
well, my car is going to be a drift car and It will see track time no doubt. so i don't really care all that much. i just want it to look good and not crack instantly from a speed bump. im sure I can deal with poor fitment initially.gregfarz78 wrote:fiberglass + daily driving = no no
buy a urethane kit if you are going to daily drive if, fiberglass kits look like a** after driving all the time with a million chips in it
Ok so im not from california or florida or where ever all the hip car people seem to emanate from, but I have been in the 240sx scene for a long time. I went to the first ever east coast drift event, I've lived in japan for a year, and have owned a 240sx since I was 16. If its S13, ive seen it. I'm simply recounting my real world observations, regardless of what is posted on forums. Your asking for 2 different things that are hard to reconcile with a street car. If you have a super low car with a fiberglass kit that is an inch off the ground, its probably going to get f***ed up, regardless of where you live in the states, end of story. But by all means, please start this project. I cant wait to see a spotless, daily driven track drifter with cheap aero parts that arnt fiberglass and dont crack, and has a one inch ride height. There is a first time for everything.ViolentRunning13 wrote:

Doesnt look bad just needs to be alittle lowerWhite Comet wrote:fair enough, and i am bored in calss right now. bear in mind, this isnt super low since i bought the car with this suspension setup, but its still EXPENSIVE aero.
