If you're on 17's, you'll reach the "limit" of how low you can drop the car since the aero would be about a finger away from the floor (too low for most people to tolerate) but you'll only have tire to fender clearance. I kind of regret going 17/18 because I can't fit my foot under my front bumper with 215/40 in the front but I'm BARELY tucking tire. If I and ViolentRunning had 18's all around, best believe I would be tucking RIM in the back and have a finger's gap between fender and rim in the front. All while still having a good finger's clearance with my front bumper and floor.
yeah, i understand all this. but i know VR is running a BN type 2 kit, which to my knowledge has less ground clearance than a URAS kit or origin knockoff, etc.

and, it's hard to argue to me that that red car doesn't look damn good. hahah. i just love how it sits. I've never been a fan of large wheels, so like I've been saying... I'm gonna go with a similar setup. If I learn the hard way that I need 18s, oh well. but I think I can pull off what I want with 17s, be steezin, AND low.

let's just hope I can drive the damn thing. what kit are you running?

that's full uras type 4? got any rear shots with the uras kit?

also, you're running 17s or 18s in that pic?? (looks like it's probably a stagger of the two with 17s up front, eh?)

yeah, the reason I was asking about origin is because it's cheaper, and if it is indeed an EXACT replica of the uras kit, i will probably go with origin. i just wanna make sure the dimensions are exact, due to clearance issues.

You know you can get a knockoff URAS kit for like 350 bucks. I am 17/18 stagger. I can't stand it.

VR, are those over fenders hard to mount straight or is it pretty much just drill and rivet?

Yeah just drill and rivet. It is easy if you have friends. If you don't have friends you'll be alone thus making it harder for yourself.

dope. already have this on my HD but nice to know what kit it is.

where could i get a full knockoff kit for 350? do tell. i thought origin WAS uras knockoff?

i dunno man, the 18s look good, but so do the 17s. it's not like you have wheel gap. sure, you're not tuckin rim, but both setups look great.

dunno... too bad the mustang wheels don't come in 18s. theyre just so cheap and such good sizes to not pick up. we'll see what i do. keep this thread bumpin.

The overs are just generic brand cheap overs. That is why I want 18s in the front. I want to have fender to rim each corner. You can hit up M1autoJamie over on zilvia for a kit.

Uhhh Zenki lip on a Chuki bumper ? You can drive it, just drive it carefully.

No aero yet. I'll get aero after I get my 2way and my SR first.

Stockish body with a slight pull in the back. Silvia rear valence, Chuki sides, Chuki bumper, Zenki lip trimmed and tucked as high as I could. 17x9 +8ish; 18x9.5 +10.

A pic from a page back:

I still have to pick them up from DMAX.

I drove the car 200 miles two nights ago, just like that.

How ? I slyly asked him if he rolled his fenders drunk because of the huge dent in the back and he immaturely gave a "your mom" rebuttal.

He could have newspaper pulled them and gotten away with it, not go crazy enough to cave his fender in. F'ing up your body just to fit some "ehh" fitting Works..."
you assume too much dude. that BIGass dent isnt from the roll/pull, its from a dorifto incident about what, 3 years ago now? and the roll was FUNCTIONAL cus his s***ty kports fail at being suspension, and let the car bottom out everywhere... which means the wheels move upward into the body, for those of you following along, which means he needed clearance.

your car is low. congrats. but its funny to me that you have s***ty wheels, and are low on NO aero, but youre raggin on a guy who has LEGIT wheels and runs full aero, but not super slammed.

youre not in the same boat as him, but youre in the same damned ocean dude.

that being said, ill post actual pics in here once my aero arrives.

Yeeee the black tape is kinda cute on it. At first it looked like Adrian's S13 on the White Professors.

Nico has been so lame lately. Locked best looking s13 thread = nothing to post on or gaze at D:

Heh, it's also funny to me that he has s***ty suspension with legit wheels and messed up aero and body. Nothing wrong with having all OEM aero while being low. Just ask BH or your friend WC.

I abuse my car as well. Street drifting this weekend, I slammed my back wheel into a curb. My wheel was fine other than some uber rash on the lip. I ordered a new wheel as soon as I got home because it bothered me enough that my car will look like dookie with a f***ed up wheel. It's reassuring that I can repurchase a new wheel for <$200 shipped if I f*** one up instead of paying $655.49 PLUS shipping AND wait time for one Professor SP1 (what I would have if I were balleur). All while having fitment good enough to attract the "JDM hoez" when I hardpark at meets.

Meh, no thanks. From pictures I've seen, the lip sags down in the front just like a Zenki lip on a Chuki bumper. Plus if I'm gonna spend >$200 for a lip, it'll be the Garage Defend lip if I could find it. Or some used VS Type VI aero.

Oh yeah, thanks for the sig, Kalypso !
