yeah, i understand all this. but i know VR is running a BN type 2 kit, which to my knowledge has less ground clearance than a URAS kit or origin knockoff, etc.KA_Pig wrote:
If you're on 17's, you'll reach the "limit" of how low you can drop the car since the aero would be about a finger away from the floor (too low for most people to tolerate) but you'll only have tire to fender clearance. I kind of regret going 17/18 because I can't fit my foot under my front bumper with 215/40 in the front but I'm BARELY tucking tire. If I and ViolentRunning had 18's all around, best believe I would be tucking RIM in the back and have a finger's gap between fender and rim in the front. All while still having a good finger's clearance with my front bumper and floor.
and, it's hard to argue to me that that red car doesn't look damn good. hahah. i just love how it sits. I've never been a fan of large wheels, so like I've been saying... I'm gonna go with a similar setup. If I learn the hard way that I need 18s, oh well. but I think I can pull off what I want with 17s, be steezin, AND low.
let's just hope I can drive the damn thing. what kit are you running?
