I suppose that depends on how you look at it. within 4 pages, I have seen a few good examples and have gotten some ideas, and I hope the thread continues for a long while, because I know there are more daily'd cars out there, and I know I'm not the only person wondering about what can be pulled off.

so, unless you have something to contribute, I will kindly ask you to stay the hell out of my thread. The only reason threads go down the s***ter around here is people making useless comments, when they could much more easily hit the back arrow on their computer screens.

My post was not really useless. I gave you a suggestion to go look on zilvia because there are a lot more examples of people running the style you are looking for. This thread for example will have lots of pic of what you are looking for.

http://zilvia.net/f/chat/12986....html

And yes I am sure you have probably already seen that thread but just in case you have not there are a ton of good examples there.

i realize there are tons of 240s out there with flush wheel fitment and aero.

the purpose of this thread was to consolidate a collection of which ones of those cars out there were actually driven daily, and to find out a bit more info on their setups (IE: wheel/camber specs, which particular kit, etc)

so, your post didn't, and still doesn't help.

luckily for the both of us, I don't like to start e-fights over the internet, so I try to respect everyone and go about my business casually.

so again, please don't post in this thread unless it is directly related to the topic and/or contributary in nature.

I stand corrected sir. Looks nice.

You should update your sig so people don't think you're being a d!ck/hypocrite.
Haha, thanks. As soon as I get the shoot done I'll put up the pics in a new topic and try to get a sig made. I really DO digg my car in the state it was in during my sig pic though.

this was my dailer driver

i loved but hated it since it was gutted i had to deal with cold weather. had nothing on it. car was very low and very stiff i had to drive 25 miles to work and stay in traffic for 15 minutes so i sold the car. also since i had dif gears on my dif my max speed was 55mph on a 3k rpm on a highway that was 65mph.

when i hit 65mph i was around 4. s*** sucked. so i sold her god i miss her

My Daily and about as low as you can go (in UK) and still get over speed bumps. The worst ones will gently scrape the kit a bit but its liveable. Would like to go a touch lower on the front but hey.

Whore time

stance and height are nice, but those wheels are amateur.

save up for something more serious.

Looks like SexyStyle front and sides to me. I plan to go with SS but with aero an inch from the floor with 18's. Oh yeah, daily driven.

for serious people. i need to know for sure if the red car I posted is indeed running uras type 4 aero.

i know for sure the car is on 17s, which is optimal for me. I don't really want to run 18s, so if I can pull off 17s and a nice kit like that, I'm game.

When running a kit and 17s your car can't be too low or it looks stupid. That is why that guy can pull it off. I myself feel like I need to run a 18/19 stagger from being low and BN.

how would it look stupid if it's too low? that's like an oxymoron in my book...

it looks like he has the wheel wells almost filled up pretty good, and he could even go lower.

plus, my wheels will be much wider than that, and some good stretch will help fill out the remainder that i can't fill with just slammed-ness.

you're running 17s arent you kyle? wtf mayte

this looks dope to me.

17's seem to do the trick just fine.

^^im with these fools.friend of mine runs (i think, ill ask and come back to correct) 18/17 on these, might be 19/18... IMO, the front tire looks goofy cuz its not the same thickness as the back (see pics). also, his front fender on the driver side is a replacement and it is more round at the top so it is thinner from the hood edge to the wheel well.Origin stream line kit, FYI, and its not low enough (for me)

what does his wheel diameter have to do with it not being low enough?? he could easily drop the front another two inches and the problem would be solved. I'm not getting it?

technically, the smaller the wheel, the lower the car.

to me, i am trying to find out the best moderate/semi agressive kit to run with tolerable ground clearance for daily driving, and hopefully on 17s, so my car is ACTULALLY low, no just looks low because of a huge-normous kit and 18s/19s to fill it in.

no saying thats a bad look, either, but I am both on a budget, and just prefer that the taillights of my rear end be hella low.

it seems to me that with 18s or 19s and a massive blister kit, the actual height of the car compared to stock is about the same, give or take an inch or two.

if I can fill the wheel wells with 17s and ride low low, what's not to like?

the diameter of both tires is the same, the wheel size is staggered 17f/18r or 18f/19r... thats all. s*** is too low for most of san clemente.

but you just said it wasnt low enough for you, now it's too low?

either way, someone explain to me how that red car with better fitting wheels and slightly lower in the front wouldnt be perfect???

i can see 18s if you are running a blister kit. 19s is too much to me no matter how damn big your kit is.

but for me, 17s is perfect. and if that is a Uras type 4 kit, then that's what i'll be going for. looks near perfect to me.

If you're on 17's, you'll reach the "limit" of how low you can drop the car since the aero would be about a finger away from the floor (too low for most people to tolerate) but you'll only have tire to fender clearance. I kind of regret going 17/18 because I can't fit my foot under my front bumper with 215/40 in the front but I'm BARELY tucking tire. If I and ViolentRunning had 18's all around, best believe I would be tucking RIM in the back and have a finger's gap between fender and rim in the front. All while still having a good finger's clearance with my front bumper and floor.

^^ lol. exactly!!

i'm just saying, i think that red car has the right idea. and I would prefer to run 17s. if you look, he could easily be a bit lower in the front, and the rear (for me) is just about perfect. now, take that and widen the wheels, dial in some camber, and the car looks damn near perfect.

maybe eventually i will want 18s. but i think i've found my setup for a while.

but, go ahead and change my mind with some more good pics and some cars with 18s and aero!

Im not saying its too low for my tastes, just too low for most of the stupid streets around here. hes still tweaking with the height and camber stuff as well as his fender pull. last i checked the fender lip was rubbing on the lip of the wheel while driving.

hahah. ok. i just didn't really follow what point you were trying to make is all.

i still think the red coupe up there is nearly perfect for my goals. I will most likely be getting that kit (still havent really been assured that it is URAS) and slapping on some 17" cobra R wheels in WIIIIDDDDEEE offsets. and that should look mighty tasty!! can't wait.

It could be Origin but URAS looks just like it. This was a while ago when my car had URAS.
